I'm very, very happy Mura is there too. He's so under appreciated, but of course Yuzu wouldn't forget him! I was really sure Nobu would be in too, maybe he'll still get added. And tbh I thought Misha maybe or that Boyang could show up... I'm greedily hoping at least some will still be added :)

Yeah, they are going to broadcast the show of April 15 live but it is on pay channel :drama: The same show will be shown live at some movie theaters but you have to win the lottery for that. I found out that the theater placed 30 minutes by train from my house was selected for that public viewing so I'll try at least, haha.

And if you have any question for Yuzuru, you can tweet it with this hashtag #CiONTU質問募集. The deadline is April.8 23:59 of Japan time, and the questions must be only about PyeongChang Olympics.

Hello, I wonder if any of you have read the books on yuzu. I'm thinking of getting yume wo ikiru which i know is a compilation of his interview from 2015. My question is it's worth getting aoi honoo 1&2 (his autobiography) or do they overlap quite a bit with yume wo ikiru?

In tumblr there was a resume and advice on this, sure if you look under the books title shouldn´t be difficult to find the post...

:laugh: Thanks. I'm not sure how I can top these. Doesn't get bigger than worlds or olys, and a lot of that reaction is relief because of the adversity he was facing leading up to both of these.

From what I understand, Aoi Honoo 1 and 2 are actual autobiographies and are quite different from yume wo ikiru, which, as you said, is a compilation of interviews from Ice Jewels, where only the last chapter has a new interview. From what everyone says, the Aoi Honoo books are definitely worth it. I don't know if you read Japanese or not, but if not, there are English translations available (unofficial, by fans) for those who buy the Aoi Honoo books.

Hello! I have the impression the contents of these books are not overlapped very much. The writing style is different, yume wo ikiru is raw interviews of Yuzuru so you can read his thoughts in deep about the details of figure skating, the competitions, the elements and so on.
 
Hello all!
I can’t believe it’s already been a year since Yuzuru won Worlds with that wonderful performance of Hope and Legacy. Who knew a year later he would’ve been put through what some might’ve defined as hell, with a horrible injury, and fought through that to win another OGM. Amazing.

Question - Was a press conference held at the Olympics with the medalists ala Worlds and the Grand Prix events? I’ve been looking for footage, but can’t find any. I’m thinking perhaps there was no time? Considering after the plush ceremony at the venue the athletes likely had just enough time to do some press with their respective countries, get changed out of their costumes, then head over to the medal ceremony.

I'd like to know this too! I was under the impression that they did in fact hold a press conference (not sure if post-FS only, or if they held both post-SP and post-FS conferences), as I've found gifs and clips and translations of an Olympic press conference with Yuzu+Javi+Shoma (ex: that one moment when Shoma accidentally knocks over his nameplate and Yuzu+Javi turn and stare), but I've never found anything longer than a few seconds, much less the video of the full press conference... :scratch2:

There's even little Nam Nguyen in the clip where they exchange fist bumps at a world team event, Boyang Jin hiding/crouching to stay out of the pictures as Takahito and Yuzuru pose after the medal ceremony at (I'm guessing) NHK 2015?, a photo with the Shibsibs, and the photo of Misha Ge and Takahito that Misha recently posted on Instagram. I'm so glad Yuzuru is having this skating show and including some awesome skaters who are also his friends.

Thank you for sharing, it makes me want to cry, very nice video :sad21: I also liked Oda hugged Boyang at NHK, he is really a nice guy!
