The 3A is Yuzu's trademark, his ultimate back-up weapon, the most consistent jump (with the 3F), a GOE-goldmine and his closest friend besides Pooh-san. No way, he'll drop the triple Axel in the free.Random question: if Yuzu masters 4A do you think he'll take off 3A from his FS completely or rather get rid of 3F or 3Lz for BV sake?

I don't know, every jump is individual, but Yuzu had no problems to jump 4T and 3T, 4S and 3S in the same program and the 4Lo didn't have any major effect on his 3Lo either. (I skip the Lutz-discussion).Adding one more revolution often influences triple technique. That's what I had in mind asking that question.
(okay Yuzu would have a massive advantage with 3 quads in the short...)I would never drop the best camouflage-3F in the world for that diabolic 3Lz. Never ever. :dev2:

Apart from that Yuzu needs a rock solid 3A in his short anyway, since a 4A doesn't count as a required 'Axel jump'... because ISU(okay Yuzu would have a massive advantage with 3 quads in the short...)
He will be very careful and cautious with the 4A attemps that they never harm his 3A.

Aye, it doesn't. ISU reaching new hights againWait... so a 4A doesn‘t count as a required Axel jump even if it is an Axel jump? ISU being ISU again, I guess.![]()

I want to be honest: I don't like 4-2 combos. The quad is so fast and huge, while the 2T appears just tiny and slow... as if the skater stands on the brakes after the quad.4S or 4T
3F or 3Lz
3A
4S3T
4T2T
3A1Lo3S

I kind of agree, a 4/2 is just not the same kind of wow factor for me. I'd actually prefer a solo quad to a 4/2, especially if you can give them really nice run-outs like Yuzu does. Go big or go home!! Though if it's the same point potential doing a 4/2 and a 3a/.5/3sal as it is to do a 3a/2toe and 4T/.5/3sal then I can understand the lack of incentive to do the latter.
Sorry if this had been asked before but can someone please tell me when is the GPS assignments will come out? and Do you think Yuzu and Shoma will be at NHK? TIA![]()
I'm not a huge fan of 4-2 combos either, but points wise it works better to have the quads in combo if you do it in the bonus. Since we're talking hypothetical situations, here's some other crazy ideas:
4Lo
4S or 4T
3F or 3Lz
3A
4S3T
4T3Lo
3A1Lo3S
Or probably this is more likely as we've actually seen Yuzu try a 3A3Lo in gala practice.
4Lo
4S or 4T
3F or 3Lz
3A
4S3T
4T1Lo3S
3A3Lo
Here is the extreme of the extreme I can think of, given we've seen Yuzu trying out that 4S1lo4S and 3A3Lo in practice before. Crazy combos FTW.
4A
4Lz
4Lo
3A
4S1Lo4S
4T3T
3A3lo

The last one, lol. 4A? 4Lz? 4Lo? 4S1Lo4S? Sure. No problem. Why not? If he actually did something like that, someone should march up straight away to him and hand him his future third consecutive OGM![]()
