Yuzuru Hanyu: 2017-2018

On ISU world standing it says yuzu only trains 14 hrs per week. This is one of the lowest training time compared to other skaters. Is this accurate information ?

If I'm not mistaken, Yuzu trains 2 sessions daily (per Marin mentioned)
Session 1 (1.15 hrs) / 1-2 hr break / Session 2 (45 mins)
Anyone, please correct me if it is wrong though

Isn't that shorter training time than average for professional competing skaters though? Quantity isn't everything but alot of practice helps build muscle memory for jumps.. Eteri girls practice alot more than their peers and hence they rarely make mistakes in comps compared to other skaters.

JSF also announced the schedule of the competitions in Japan through 2018-2019 season.

He does lots of off ice training, gym and image training. Also Brian in his book said that its not hours of training that matters ,it is about quality of training. Every coach has their own methods and skaters are unique too. I remember back in 2014 there was an interview with BO, he said he cut Yuna's and Yuzu's training to 2 sessions because it worked better for them, for Javi he increased to 3 even 4 because it worked better for him. Plus, Yuzu has asthma and overworking is not good for him.

Guys being a newbie in FS, I would like to ask what does seeded mean? Sorry for the silly question.
If an athlete is classified as seed it means, he/she will join high ranking competetions?
Or they don't require much qualifications to enter competitions which has demands a preliminary event?

Do you have the source for what kind of off ice training he does in the gym? I want to know. Also what is the name of Brian's book? I want to read it myself.

Team Brian published in 2014
and Legend of 300 published in 2016

I don't know the details of his gym training but I remember Brian said until 2015 Yuzu did lesser gym training because he did not want to bulk up, after 2015 his gym trainings became more intense. Now I am summing up from different interviews, articles and books so can't really say which quote belongs to this or that article or book. Because we are having loads of info about Yuzu since 2011 and especially from 2014 My head became a bit of mess in this 7 years

I’m not sure about FS but usually seeded team/athletes are the winner/podium finishers from last time or those higher in (world) ranking. In bracket tournaments, they want to avoid putting strong competitors against each other early on in the prelims so the seeded ones won’t be put in the same bracket/pool.
I think in the Japan nationals case, it’s more like a ‘bye’ than being seeded? Seeded would be in the GP assignment situation where the podium finishers from Worlds can’t compete at the same GP.

Opening, Yuzu came out with natural hair. Huge cheer from the crowd. He was in super high spirits, did a 4T with a high kick perfect, and today a little restrained stirring up (of the crowd?)
Hottest summer in the world, going with the song, he hugged himself and put his head to one side in a mischievous way. Leaving, he waved to the north side stands, and the stands screamed.

https://twitter.com/yuzuru_fairy/status/1010116912318013440 the latest fantasy on ice booklet has Yuzu / Stephane portion with some great photos.

Yuzu, where did you put your hand?:o:
That is not a blushing placement. It's a usual jeans back pocket placement. And a bit higher than the place where one usually gets the injections in case of intramuscular ones. The blushing one is much lower.:p This one is innocent.
