It seems Yuzuru's picture was deleted, I hope it was because of copyright issue.

I would - sadly - guess so, certainly when i went there there were no comments that might cause it, just a whole outpouring of Yuzu love.

So...any news? Is Hanyu even attending Worlds still?

Ughhhh @ this radio silence!

At this stage that's the plan, the last heard from Brian things are going well... and as Brian hold everyone pretty much this time last year (though not everyone was listening) "never underestimate Mister Hanyu."

Worlds being in Japan, if it's at all possible both Shoma and Yuzu will be there if humanly possible.

I hope you don't mind posting this here, Shizuka said that Rika Kihira and Yuzuru have something in common. Yuzuru doesn't have a weak jump, and has good spins and steps. Rika is also like him, a well-balanced skater like Yuzuru. Her spin will even improve more, and a well-balanced skater means an "ideal skater".

Rika also changed her form of taking off on Salchow jump, Ghislain taught her how to do it showing her Yuzuru's Salchow. Rika says, "I have never seen his Salchow closely before, so I will observe it attentively in WC."

A well rounded skater is exactly right. Good luck to team Japan at Worlds...lots of pressure, but also lots of support from the home crowd. 4cc isn't even finished but I'm already looking forward to seeing Yuzu. Will we get a glimpse of him first at an airport, or walking into the training rink?

Yuzuru's weakest jump is probably his Lutz. He hasn't done one all season probably because of the fall at NHK, and he almost fell on a 3Lz in the Olympics despite landing his 4S, 4T and 3A comfortably. Then again, he doesn't actually need the jump this season.

Loop pls don't kill him.

I think Shizuka meant about the technique of the jumps, and if I pick a weakest in that sense, it might be his Flip. But he corrected its edge so basically he doesn't have any weird habit in his jumps IMO. But it is true that recently he looks to be struggling on Lutz mostly because of the injury.

I wouldn't expect anything else other than silence until the Worlds...( not counting ads and such), and I think that is the plan since that's how it has always been done in Yuzuru's case.

I miss seeing him compete! Although my heart beats a lot slower during GPF, Nationals, Europeans, 4CC...

The thing is, for all the talk and calculations and predictions on threads here and elsewhere.... no one knows what a healthy, on form Yuzuru might be capable of at Worlds. We don't have much of a clue, and neither do his rivals.

I  that Yuzu will be healthy enough in worlds to get all the positive GOE's and land all of the jumps he needs.
I really want him to win this one. And from there, I will await again his further plans.

This time last year, he had already arrived at the Olympics - with that oh so badass bodyguard around him, a jacket that didn't fit, and a smile that lit up Korea....

And media started to be suspicious about Yuzuru's strong and healthy return and I am like, "Wait, didn't this happen before?" I think it can't be helped since we fans, media, his rivals and his fans don't know anything about current situation of Yuzuru, so I am trying not to respond to the provocation especially by the media

Uchimura Kohei (my other favorite athlete in gymnastics) had this to say about Yuzu's performance at the Olympics
Thanks to translator. https://twitter.com/Iron_Klaus/status/1094637824102596610 (there's just one error in the translation that was corrected later in the tweet thread.

-And here's the video. https://twitter.com/dollhanyu/status/1094646084993839104

Thank you the translator for your hard work. "SP意味がわからなかったです。見てて。" has been translated into "Watching his SP, I couldn't tell he was injured.", but I think it can be translated into "Watching his SP, I had no idea how he did that." based on the way Kohei said. And also I want to add, "He also said "I know the Olympics", and yes, you are absolutely right/I agree."

I am so glad Kohei still remembers Yuzuru's great achievement, the champions must understand each other in many ways even in the different sports. Good luck to Kohei for 2020 Olympics.

https://wherespacepooh.tumblr.com/post/170779365889/the-king-the-protagonist-has-made-his And here is a translated humorous account from a reporter who waited at the Airport for Hanyu to land in Korea.
“The King, the protagonist, has made his appearance at Incheon. Yuzuru Hanyu, we’ve all been waiting for you.” (BBMook Web 2018.2.11)
