The commentator is Paul Wylie, he's a 1992 Olympic silver medalist so probably easier for him.
(tbh it's great to hear him as he almost died in 2015 from a sudden cardiac arrest even though he is not actually sick.)

Anyway, yes, it's so different yet really great. I loved every moment of it.

I would definitely pick silver medals as #1 😂 . He literally put them on his nightstand next to him when he sleeps. Keep you friends close but your enemy closer 😅

My favorites are 1. Seimei (either), 2. Hope and Legacy, and 3. this one is tough, but probably Let's Go Crazy (the purple version)

... whereas the Oly golds he stores in a sock! :rofl:

A bit of a non sequitor but that was one thing I noticed after the Olympics, all those official/celebration occasions like the press conferences and the parade... most people, if they had the two gold would have worn the two gold pretty much everywhere, but Yuzu just the one. Surely he didn't accidentally forget where he put Sochi?

I remember there was an event in which he wore both and there are some pictures but I can't remember which one was it. In events right after the Ganed, I have seen athletes wear the medal(s) they have won in those Games in Particular. I have seen athletes wear all the medals the have won in several Games in counted, very special occasions. Perhaps, since it was right after the 2018 Games, he saw more fit to just wear that one?
But don't worry, he has not lost his Sochi medal :laugh:

He wore both of them when visiting kids at a school that was finally open after the Earthquake/Tsunam. It has been closed this whole time. 🙂

{grin} he remembered which cupboard he put it in before then...

I imagine up to then the Japanese press were aching for a shot of him wearing both of them, from Pyeongchang right up to the morning of the People’s Honor Award. I do recall a clip of an interview with Nobu where he said he had tried them both on one at a time - Pyeongchang was heavier - and Nobu teased him mercilesslyabout it.

Yes 😂 they were doing a interview backstage during FAOI and Nobu and the girl was so extra 😂
