Is anyone guessing Johnny might work with Yuzuru again for the costume?![]()
mg please noooooo
I think he might do homage steps to Nijinsky in the step sequence. Or he might do something incredibly new. I love how he is going to bring his own side to this famous song.I wonder how the coreography for Origin is gonna turn out, Yuzuru is more contemporary than balletic...
I think he may need a year or two to challenge lutz and flips again in competitions. But it also means he is planning to compete longer. I'm sure he won't retire without the full quad package (excluding flip), given his wild passion and ambition for skating itself. [emoji18]You cannot say Yuzuru isn’t ambitious.I can’t wait to see how his plans play out. Hopefully he has success without injury.
I’m very happy to hear he plans to bring back the 4L. When done well, he does it beautifully. Sorry to see the hidden 3F go though. Not surprised about the Lutz being MIA considering his injury and honestly I never thought it was his best jump.
I tend to imagine that a 4A would replace the 4Lo, rather than being moved in front of it.First jump, he already said so. So something like this if no Lz
4A 4Lo 4T // 4S-3T, 4T-Lo-3S, 3A-2T, 3A
I tend to imagine that a 4A would replace the 4Lo, rather than being moved in front of it.
Need to process all this new info but no Lutz or Flip huh? I guess the injury is still lingering, but I'm glad the loop is back :luv17:

Guys!!! https://twitter.com/boyangjins/status/1035237083915464704
Media day is today!!
The 4Lo is itself an extraordinarily difficult quad jump. Attempting a 4A is a big risk in and of itself, and would be a huge achievement. Going immediately from successfully landing one of those to attempting a 4Lo as well would be even more strenuous. The point difference between the Loop and the Toeloop is insignificant, in a world where he's landed a 4A.He'd have to discard his second highest-scoring quad. It'd make more sense discard a 4T if he wanted to play it safe and stick to a 4 quad program. So the 4 would move in front of the 4Lo anyway.
