Yuzuru Hanyu: 2019-2021

Greeting with Voronov :)

Koshiro was crying after watching Yuzuru's performance.

Yuzuru says he knows the reason why he had troubles in 4T since practice today, but he won't talk about it because he thinks it is going to be excuses. (I wonder what it is...)

About the performance today, he says it was far from perfect, flying camel spin wasn't good, he could have more speed during step-sequence and overall spins.

Husband after watching SP: "He is going for the 3rd OGM, it's just so obvious". I'm with you hubby :agree2:

Yuzu seems to be nervous during the SP but he made it through.
We are praying for your LP, everything wil be fine and he will be at the finals.

He's made it through the last practice... whew!

https://twitter.com/tyugaeri/status/1198062564275417088?s=20 What kind of crazy combo is this??

His runthrough report
https://twitter.com/ucchi04271/status/1198061783929327616?s=20

4Lo double footed -pop
4S
3Lz beautiful
4Tpop
3Apop
3A-3T
Tried the 4T again and fell, finish pose.

Other reports say he was able to land his jumps outside the run-through including a good 4Lo.
It's a morning practice so I trust Yuzu will be in the right condition by the time he needs to be. --The important thing is...he's made it through so far!

"Btw Yuzuru made it out of practice with two functional ankles, so all things considered it was a good practice for him"

Sending best of wishes to Yuzu... you just do you, and be happy.

I also think that he looked nervous before the SP and disappointed after (I thought that he was not happy with the scores, but apparently I was wrong). I hope he's going to be happy with his FS today.

I enjoy Origin so much, maybe it's my favorite LP ever, but it's so demanding. Good luck, Yuzu!:clapper:

GOOD LUCK, YUZU!!! Praying for you!!

And what is this combo? (can we call this combo?)

As a skater who does 4-jump combos (1S1T1T1Ts, but 4-jump combos nonetheless), I think that's called the "Test Your Skills and Be a Big Show-Off Simultaneously" combo.

And Kerston, you're missing out by not watching Yuzu at Worlds! They were beautiful performances, and a lot of fans consider the "loss" the result of biased judging rather than him actually not skating the best.

Yuzuru was like
'yes I can go to the final'
Says a lot about all he wanted from this competition. Didn't even matter that he missed a jump in the end.

Oh GOD, I couldn't believe how his foot was shaking in the starting position. He was definitely nervous but he did so much better than what that nervousness would impose on him. Missed 4T was a shame but it gave us a chance to witness his smart and brave soul once again. Who else can YOLO 4T and 3A combinations as the last jumping passes?

Now to celebration :yahoo: Way to go the golden season. Bring on your kind acts everyone. The dragon can not be tied down :yahoo: "The living, breathing, still competing legend" will be golden in two weeks again :agree:

He got the 4T-3T combination in the end. :agree2:

Might be biased, but I don't agree with the PCS, they are too low. I liked more the energy and interpretation than in Skate Canada.
