"The Light Behind Your Eyes" by My Chemical Romance, the Gregory Crimson version. Though I feel like something of that would be better for Olympic season...though of course, people repeat programs. I have the layout out on where exactly in the music the jumps, spins, and steps go.

Well, I said this last night and while the men's comp was better than women and pairs, this is the weirdest Nationals I've seen in a long, long time. Happy for Jason as always, but would have had Camden ahead of him. Strange few days. I am happy with the final 3.

Well skate of the the night for me was Camden, followed by Jason.

I would say Camden and then Max.

Jason is always Jason. We’ve seen him skate like this many times. But Camden and Max skated probably better than they have ever skated, and I love that.

I am utterly exhausted from watching this Nats but it was fun sharing it with all of you. I don't know anyone in NYC who gives a squat about this sport. Oy.

Max got an 85 in PCS? I'm pleasantly surprised and happy that he got credit for his skating and performance ability.

This was the best of the bunch, but marred by more bogus scoring. Naumov got shafted because USFed doesn’t want to send him to Worlds. Worlds team will be Ilia, Brown, and Pulkinen.

Congrats to Ilia, I hope he got the YOLO out of his system before Worlds. I never expect perfection from Ilia, good when it happens, but cmon guys, he does miss a jump once in a while.

Jason. To see the crowd love him like that. Just verklempt. And yes I like the Impossible Dream, so sue me. I cannot believe that after years and years of stiffing him on scores, the Nats judges are giving him his flowers.

Maxim and Camden: putting two strong skates together in one comp. When is the last time both of them did that? Huh? When? Worth the price of admission alone.
