France really must want to get on the podium only reason i can see not to invite at least 1 american. Really weak field.

The American men not named Ilia these days are hardly confirmed world beaters, Adam and/or Kévin ( missing him 😢) could have outscored them on a good day.

sad that Kévin is injured.....

If France wanted to make sure to favour their own, they wouldn't invite 3 Japanese men... American men were dominating with Chen, Zhou and Brown, but that era is gone. Ilia is in the mix but I wouldn't say that of Camden, Tomoki, Jimmy, Max, Liam nor Dihn. Maybe I am forgetting someone else? At this point, watch out for Japanese, Korean, and Italian men. A new cycle has started.

It's funny how before the beginning of this season, I thought UK grand prix, John Wilson, had the poorest line up out of all the grand prix. But as the season progresses, for me personally, with all the withdrawals and line up changes, I dare stick my head out and say that it's looking up to be the 4th best of the season (ahead of Skate Canada and Grand Prix de France), from being the potentially the most lacklustre. Yes, I even consider the line up in Skate Canada to be lesser (after the withdrawals), even though it's probably one of the best events in terms of fans attendance.

And from the dancers, we move to the chaos category!

Livestream for the Men's SP is now on air.

Here is the link for the World Feed coverage on the ISU YouTube Channel:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oUDWzoVpO1M

Here is the link for the British Eurosport 2 coverage on Discovery+ UK:
https://www.discoveryplus.com/gb/vi...-british-sport/grand-prix-e2-coverage-3505669

Here is the link for the "No Advert" coverage on Discovery+ UK:

EDIT: Although this link is labelled as the Pairs Short Programme, it is actually the Men's Short Programme. Whoever was pressing the buttons before the Men's SP accidentally started broadcasting it on the stream intended for the Pairs SP. And, consequently, the Pairs SP had to be broadcast on the stream intended for the Men's SP.

I'm definitely not going to be able to watch the Men's SP live next week :( But I hope it's a good event!

I am not ready for this event. I am expecting complete and utter chaos throughout, ordinals galore, splats, pops, and +COMBOs. And, of course, attempts by several men to be anointed as the new Cactus King.

thank you, @CaroLiza_fan for the links to the streams. I have paid subscription to Discovery Plus, but the commentator on there is awful - he knows next to nothing about skating and has a really irritating smug voice.

Mark however, is a wonderful commentator - full of enthusiasm, kindness and knowledge.
