I'm not sure this rhythm plays to T/V's strengths, unfortunately. Music makes them look a bit slow and cautious. But they'll probably get hometown score boost.

I don't know enough about ice dance to know how technically good they are, but Juulia and Matthias certainly look crisp to me. At least the two of the songs sounded Latin.

The sudden burst of melodramatic emotion was like whiplash, and gone as quickly as it arrived.

Just love the Finns. That was great. I really think they could benefit with a move to Montreal though - I feel like MF would know how to capitalize on their elegance and also ensure they have top notch mental coaches so that they don’t make mistakes in competitions. I always worry for them!

On third viewing, I may be an outlier, I really *like* Kaitlin's dress.

I love the Desi Arnaz theme throughout, clean, fast, confident and they sell it like the rent is due.

Great presentation and intricacy of that dance. Still not sold on the dress. It is not good enough for my lovely Kaitlin. Energy and fun abounds. I think she has a pressure pad on her knee, probably protecting it on a knee slide.
