I'm getting excited for this event. Have there been any practice reports? I'm really hoping that Vincent is feeling 100% because we need him to skate like he did at Skate America. If he does, I think we're in good shape. I'm expecting Ilia to skate well but, I wonder if the judges will hold him back since he's so young. I just hope Camden leaves this event wit5h his head held high. It's a huge accomplishment.

You can see Jackie Wong's practice reports on Twitter, but he also has them on his website:

He missed the American men at practice today, but all the other men and the other disciplines are listed.

Some quick notes from what I've seen from practice today/yesterday: Vincent has been kind of up-and-down, his quads are looking a little iffy (stepping out of them, UR, etc). Most of the coverage I've found is from the Japanese media, so Kazuki looks better than at Coupe du Printemps, Shoma has been landing stuff in practice pretty well but hasn't done any full runthroughs yet, and Yuma's rattling off clean FPs minus the 4Lo.

Roman has finally arrived in Montpellier (I was wondering when he'd get there because the Men SP is less than 43 hours away!), and a Japanese fan filmed a short clip of him at this morning's practice. Deniss also appears in the video.

How is Ilia looking. I'm really excited to see him on the world stage after seeing him do so well at Nationals.

There are so many interesting skaters and stories to follow in this event.

"Redemption" skates for Roman and Vincent?

"Finally and well deserved" gold or podium opportunities for Shoma, Morisi, Keegan, Deniss, and others?

"Comeback stories" for Matteo and Kevin?

"New sheriff in town" for Kagayama and Ilia?

"Breakthrough" for Nikolaj and Donovan?

Lots and lots to look forward to here.

This is ridiculous. It's one thing to have a few clothes lost in Paris, but the fact that an Olympic athlete at a major international event cannot get his luggage with critical equipment inside and the airline is doing nothing to help is completely unfair. And what makes this so frustrating is that this is what, the third? fourth? time this has happened this season? Keegan and Loena both had the same issues!
