Ah I love this skater, Ms Sakamoto. This is a great program for her.

Yoohoo! Kaori had a very good skate! What a pleasure it was.

People said she's injured, she certainly did not seem today.

And BTW. Lauryn Hill has a fabulous voice, if you haven't yet ... you have to listen to her debut and only solo album from 1998 (The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill), it's wonderful and a must listen. In my top 10 of albums of all time and I have listened to a lot of music.

You can tell how nervous she was at the start but jumps got stronger and more confident as the program progressed

I love how excited Mark gets every time Kaori does her trademark stunning 2A at the start of her programs. Totally understandable.

Not peak Kaori by any means but still spectacular to watch and she did more than enough to win comfortably here.

Very probably. I wish there was more competition among women like in mens.

Agreed. I like the idea of a blues program for Kaori but the choice of music/version and the sparse choreography is not it. The program and music feel almost completely disconnected in the first half to me.
