I really feel for him. To know how to do the jumps and not have them work with his adult body has to be so frustrating and demoralizing.
Me, too. It's got to be heartbreaking. I just googled him to see how tall he is. He's SIX FEET TALL! That's an incredible change.

nam nguyen and roman sadovsky are two others who changed tons... nam lost his jumps... never retrieve his quad toe... roman has his issues... stephen had secure quad lutz, toe,and salchow.. now he runs a popcorn factory.
6'0 ish is pretty tall to make those kinds of rotations. Being a dancer, I don't really understand jump technique, but it's got to be difficult to get all those arms and legs moving that quickly. And to change that much that quickly - they'd have to completely unlearn and relearn. I wonder if Lysacek experienced anything similar. I don't recall seeing him before he was tall.
