Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

Haha, that's right
Hopefully not, I love this one (even though it seems to change its colour:laugh:)

I love the one he wore at CoC….the colors and shape fit him so well…he was so handsome in it. Stunningly handsome!

By the way, I woke up this morning with a very good feeling about Yuzu ( I have been miserable a while, struggling with my cold & asthma, staying up night after night coughing, stressed about the holiday schedules, and will need to through a X-ray tomorrow morning, but I suddenly feel very good!) . Superstition or not…I usually have good instinct for things/people I care about. Hope this time I am right too…GO YUZU!

I hope you are right!! Let's cheer him on. Does anyone know what time he will be skating in Pacific Time?

As we are waiting anxiously, may I please ask another or two novice questions?

I wonder how Yuzu trains off-ice. I watched a documentary made for Patrick a while ago. In that documentary, it says he has 5 coaches for 5 different aspects (jumps, skating etc.). He goes to Gym 5 times a day to start physical training, and he also spends time in a dancing studio as his routine.

Since stamina is not Yuzu’s strength, I would like to know what kind of training routine he has now (I recall when he was with Nanami, she made him run on the rice for an hour each day). Another question – since his posture is not so satisfactory, does he get professional training for that as well?

Thanks for your patience to endure questions like these.

He never really disclosed his entire training routine, but from various source I think it's pretty safe to assume that he works for 3hrs on ice every day, working with Brian on his tecnique and the overall package, with Tracy for his SS and with a specialist for the spin...

Off ice he usually does some pilates (there was a photo with Nam) and probably takes some dancing classes (at least he did just after moving to Toronto)...

For his stamina if I remember correctly he started to skate full run through with a mask on...

One hour to go

Good luck Yuzu, and bring your best today

Hope to see him and Javi tied in 1st place today :laugh2:
