Disappointing, but I see their logic.
The Gala will feature all the Winners and "Big names" that might be known to the common public as well, not only to hardcore skating fans.
In pairs, with V/T out, the only "interesting" Team (in many people's eyes) are Stolbova/Klimov.... who are 99,99% sure of the gold. So not enough drama there I fear...

Pairs FP will be streamed by sportbox.ru.

You're right. For the Plushenko's performance alone they would broadcast the Gala

So, that schedule belongs to which channel, then? Do you have the sportbox schedule?

It was a TV schedule. Sportbox often shows non-televised events, only on their site.

It seems they have invited Galit Chait and Gyorgy Elek for the technical panel for ice dancing.I think it already happened once in the past when they wanted to let foreign specialists decide

Yes, I don't really understand Proklova's participation... But I'm happy to see her competing again!! :)

Not only Proklova.
Also Dmitry Aliev in Men, Davankova/Enbert in Pairs, Zahorski/Guerreiro in Dance.

Federanion may add one or two strong skaters in discipline, even if they did not qualify (at most because of injury or illness).

Proklova had score 189.06 at her Russian Cup Event, last who qualified by Russian Cup Events Ekaterina Bayanova - 132.77 and 135.64.
We see that Proklova is much stronger than last qualified by Russian Cup Events, and Proklova did not skate at 5th Event because of injury. Federation solved to add her.

Sundays Gala tickets are sold out (7500). For comparison - on Thursday and Friday they sold only 3500 tickets and on Saturday - 5000 tickets.

Hey guys, I know there's no certainty yet regarding what livestreams may or may not become available, at least until the final minutes leading up to the events, but...

Trying to decide whether or not I should drag my butt out of bed at 5 a.m on Christmas morning for the off chance that we might find livestreams for the Mens, Pairs, and Dance shorts tomorrow.

Thoughts? Scale of 1 to 10 on whether I should do it?

I figure I'll at least set my alarm and see if any new links pop up right before the events... otherwise, I may be right back in bed within minutes.
