I don't think they have any choice. Unlike Ilynikh, Sinitsina is not a person who can at this moment portray passion or drama. She is very pretty, but not very expressive. So the style music that Marina chose for them is actually the best they could do with at this moment. In something Sinitsina reminds me Shibutanis. She could skate to anything and have constantly the same expression. No fire in her.

I was just curious about why you hate Katsalapov so much. I wasn't actually trying to have a rational discussion with you. That's obviously impossible.

You know, I always liked Elena more because Nikita seemed a little arrogant to me. After their break, I sided with her because I thought he behaved like an ***. But the OTT hate S/K are getting made me start rooting for them. I'm glad they had a good skate. Their FD was my favourite today and I think they showed promise. I can't wait to see their programs next year.

This is why I think it is so important for teams like Ruslena etc, to have supportive fans. It is VERY HARD ROAD to be a Russian figure skater. Wow.

On a brighter note, I'm just happy for Ruslena, me thinks he's just one messed up bitter old man, regardless of his previous achievements. Ugh!!!

They wouldn't look so over the top if Victoria matched them, but she doesn't, so he needs to tone it down. I loved his expressiveness in the step sequences in I/K's FD last year, but it was balanced with Elena giving all the black swan drama. s/K need a common language on the ice & they are nowhere near finding it yet.
