This should be pretty open shut. The top three have done well for themselves by doing well here and on the Grand Prix. I would hope the Fed wouldn't send a team that did not earn their place when the medalist certainly did.

I didn't even think of them. On the other hand he really needs to heal. I don't want to see him go the way of Shablin. I was think Marina and politics..

They gave it all they had. They have really done something phenomenal today. I hope they get some rest and really come out even stronger in the second half of the season. These two are fighters. :yay:

S/K were lucky not to have the same problem as at NHK where the curve gets called as a straight line lift & invalidates the 2nd lift. In the replay you could clearly see there was no curve, and he was on the verge of losing his blades in exactly the same way as in Japan. Twizzles still out of synch, but they did look a bit faster, although the speed is not carried when they need to be in close hold in the step sequences. PCS was very over generous, much more gifted than any of the other couples.

How were Z/G? I hear Zhulin was mad at their score.

I like them. They do skate like a real team for such a short time. They match together and they have great SS. They were robbed yesterday, and given the PCS scores that some had today , these to should've received more.

Politics, what can you do. I thought they should have been higher than S/K in the SD but its okay.

As for S/K their improvement was nice to see. Thankfully now there will be no more talk of I/K coming back together, puhlease. These two teams are the polar opposite of each other, but in the future they are going to be so good. Within the next season or so, WC medalists will routinely come from Russia. They have the makings of a very strong team.

Now I just want to be happy for Ruslena
