I think that 3F deserved a <. Got to see the protocols but certainly the TES are way too high although her non jump elements especially the steps were excellent. The jumps...... I thought she ought to get higher PCS and lower TES. I mean Gracie got higher PCS despite those messed up landings and Satoko got less PCS with her excellent speed and bladework??? ***?

Except for Mao, I guess we will see Japanese skaters with low jumps get away with UR from now on. They have found a way to rig the TES. :disapp:

Yeah. I think Satoko is dinged for being so small/shy, even though her bladework/skills are really excellent. I do also think she was quite lucky in terms of TES today, though.

Thats my whole point, it shouldn't be. In terms of SS, I think Satoko is at least on par with Gracie, just that because of her size, she does not appear to cover the ice as big and she certainly lacks the big personality that someone like Radionova has. Pity though as I think her SS and TR certainly deserved better.
