Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

I think obligated is a strong word, most if not all skater will think that gettinh home ice as an advantange.

And after Sochi I don´t want Yuzuru to skate in Russia, no offense.
Sochi public was mostly general audience, not FS fans. I read they bought ticket just to watch their legendary Plushenko, and after his WD they left the arena.
I bet such people not interested in GP event.
FS fans appreciate Yuzuru.

As for home ice advantage as far as I remember, japanese judges weren't generous to Yuzuru, he scores higher abroad.

Oh, then Yuzu already got CoR gold?
Then TeB, please, please.

Dai and Mao skated at NHK like 7-8 year in a row right? My memory is not that good. But yeah they need their stars to sell the tickets. Yuzuru is no different option.

Honestly Yuzuru is very loved at Russia (my Russian friends said so) I don't think if there is any problem if he goes to CoR again.

That's true. I remember a video from japanese tv where they showed a fan group that had over 6000 fans I think. The point it's that there were a lot and mostly from Russia since the group was in the russian facebook (VK?).

I just browsed through the fan fest list only to realize that yuzu has an unbelievably large thread compared to others! We are like almost 1400pages and otbrts are like higheSt at page 255! WOW!

Wow! 1400. Congrats yuzu! Ice King! Views are also by far No.1!:cheer:

Personally, I want to see yuzu in TEB. That blue-based venue was beautiful and lighting at gala was fantastic, which really suited him! (Notre Dame, 2013TEB)

Dear all,

Our dear Yuzuru has come back to Toronto for Training~~
Ms Kobayashi released the information this afternoon~~

He learned from past experience and back in Toronto to start training early... I don't expect it to be this SUPER early though

I speculate, he will train a month or so, get 1 new program, come to Japan for spring and summer shows, and then go back and finish training and one more new program. .

Next season, Plushenko and Patrick Chan will come back and there are Javier, Denis and Jason who are talented strong contenders,
Even to Yuzuru, It would not be easy at all to keep and staying a top. It can be very exiting to watch in the men’s field. though,

We will see who the real Ice King is! :agree::biggrin:

This is what I'm afraid of...hope he is not rushing it due to the ice shows. Has he rested and recovered enough
