Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

It took me so long to catch up hahaha so many pages!!!! But the music is absolutely beautiful and I'm so glad Yuzuru is doing a 'japanese-style' program.

I like the costume a lot but on first glance did anyone else get Buzz Lightyear vibes? It can't just be me

Icerink is very small. Looking by video at salchow it was already tight on preparation and didn't had power of his recent quad sals

I'm trying not to worry about this so much, maybe he's just tired after all the activities he's been doing. Besides, he may not be in his 'Competition mentality' where he's more focused, as it's only an ice show. Though I haven't watched the video. Besides, he's a quad lover, one of his goals for the season is very likely to be getting his quads on good condition, specially if he's adding a 3rd one on the 2nd half.

It seems the song it's from a movie called onmyouji whose protagonist is called Abe no seimei

[Onmyouji (陰陽師?) is a Japanese movie that was released in 2001 and sent to the US in 2004. Directed by Yōjirō Takita, it tells of the exploits of Abe no Seimei, in Middle Ages, the Onmyouji (also known as: The Yin Yang Master) from the court of the Emperor. He befriended bungling court noble, Minamoto no Hiromasa, who enlists his aid to defend the Heian emperor. Meanwhile, an opposing onmyoji Doson is plotting the downfall of the emperor, while attempting to frame Seimei by unleashing a horde of yōkai to do his bidding.

There's a comparison pic that came up on twitter: left pic is Yuzu's costume, right one the tradi one. It matches. :yes:

It is dark purple not black used as the accent color. Dark purple seems to be the color for Onmyoji (a yin-yang master), but I'm not sure.

According to legend, Abe no Seimei was not entirely human. His father, Abe no Yasuna, was human, but his mother, Kuzunoha, was a kitsune (a "fox spirit"). At a very early age, no later than five, he was allegedly able to command weak 'oni' to do his bidding. His mother entrusted Seimei to Kamo no Tadayuki so that he would live a proper human life and not become evil himself.

Shae Lynn already admitted that Yuzuru is from another planet and with this program she is making it offical i am curious who picked the music

I spent all the day at work wondering which music/program type it will be...and I'm so happy by the choice Yuzu made !
Japanese music + good costume + Yuzu = utimate love !!! I'm looking forward the whole program !

There's a slight discrepancy in the above translated 3rd sentence.
