Yuzuru Hanyu: 2014-15 Season

100% manga looks, and with his elongated body, CLAMP manga too, lol. If they ever decide to do a live X/1999 movie, they've got Subaru already cast!

OMG. Another x/1999 fan? *hugs and cries with joy* Yes, he is definitely Subaru if that movie becomes a reality. :D

Anyways, I just went to sleep and woke up and this thread has moved four pages on :cheer: I will watch all the vids and stuff now. Thanks everyone for sharing.

For you and anybody else who was tempted to watch a movie they won't understand  nonchan just posted links to Onmyouji Movie with English Subs

I think the plot synopsis posted will help somewhat, ;) though like Winnie I will have to find time to watch so as to better understand the nuances of the program. Thanks Pamina. :)

Thanks for the link. Wondering if Wei Xiong is pandawei?

As Olympic champion, Yuzuru can take more artistic risks. I think this new program can be a defining one for him since, as he rightfully noted, it intends to show off the characteristics that make him so special -- strength and delicacy, his long, elegant lines. As an aside, I'm glad that the the top 3 men at Worlds now all have "heritage" LPs : Javier and Denis with their respective LPs from last season and Yuzuru with this for the new season.

I was amused he admitted he is "leveraging" the shows to further polish his program. I don't think the DOI audience mind for they have the privilege of first seeing what promises to be an iconic program.

I'm also glad to read that Yuzuru seems confident about the state of his jumps. I am sure Brian and his team of technicians as well as Yuzuru himself are taking care to make sure the jumps will be there consistently for him this coming season. Now praying he'll be spared those unfortunate and unforeseen circumstances from last year.

While I was on holiday I went a little nuts buying pretty things (some people might say that I've completely lost my mind *coughcoughmymothercough*) and some of those pretty things were actually FS related  I'm not up to date which of these are already widely know and my scanner kinda sucks, but so what ;) I'll keep posting some stuff from time to time. Starting with better pictures of those Lotte folders that I got.

By the way, I could use some help from someone who has experience deciphering symbols. Preferably somebody who calls Japanese their first language, that would be very helpful  it's actually something Yuzu related that I'd like to get translated (really short text) so if anybody would like to send me a PM to help me out, that would be greatly appreciated :)

Haven't posted for a long time but I just can't take this anymore - being the lucky one to watch the show there, I've been DEAD (yea, still) for his new program. He and his team are both wise to choose this lovely piece of music showing affection to his root and somewhat another level of artistry. The Ina Bauer was gorgeous as usual technically but a lot more sophistication in terms of interpretation of choreo. Footwork was magnificent too. Not sure how the arrangement will be adjusted, but I like the pitching of 4T. It seems Yuzu really knows himself very well, this might be the defining program of his career. Nonetheless, Shae Lynn surprised me by handing this very oriental program. She got Yuzu's edge and making it easy for foreign fans' appreciation. Applause to Shae Lynn.

The elegant Yuzu wowed the audiences with his glittery silver/white-embroidered costume and the special music choice. All of you might hear the boiling crowd later when the full version will be broadcast soon or later LMAO

The costume shone and it totally killed!!!! Yep, shinny little rhinestones are still on, okay, in a nice way (i think):laugh2:

No worries to his falls for the 2 quads, he needs some time to get used to the music - it looked like he was not so sure at the moment he took off, he just missed the moment. Last but not least, the rink was small, he accommodated it quite a bit that he also slowed down sometimes when getting close to the end of rink.

Can't wait to see the whole polished program. His growth is huge and swift...... like a rocket indeed. I am so proud of him and excited to see how much he can do in the future.
