Mao talked about Yuzuru on her radio show yesterday!!

Everyone!! this time I will speak about Yuzuru Hanyu-senshu as you guys know veeery well so I feel it is no need to say who he is

I think Yuzuru-kun is a very independent and steady person for his age. when we are in training, in off-ices, in competitions like any time he looks like that.
Seeing his attitude, I come to think of myself when I was in his age.

I believe he will do his best and work hard as an Olympic champion this year as well.

I would say his appealing points as a skater, Even as for the viewpoint of me as a female, he looks very beautiful on the ice.
He is the type of skater who in advantageous to have not only the masculine powerfulness but also the feminine softness.

As for when we are in off-ices, even if he is mature as you know, sometimes we are playing like kids.

Since we are slightly from different generations then we have finally participated some competitions together recently.
Probably we are going to talk a lot more and do our best together for the up-coming season.

Needless to say, he is a great jumper par excellence and he can be my shining example for that.
I think I could learn a lot from him so I am going to pay attention from now on

BTW, Boxing is the sport that Mao wants to try most.

The Opening costume looks nice, I think: From Yuzu's FB.

I think this is an old photo judging by the wording on the top; it says "grand prix final in fukuoka in 1 month" But it does look very similar to the one he wore in the small clips of rehearsals! I saw reports that everyone wore white at the opening and all black in the ending. Oh, and I guess he still hasn't learned to keep his shirt down while spinning.

I can't remember the source, but in an recent interview before one of the ice shows, he said that only in ice shows he is able to pour his emotion out to the fullest extent without restraint (as opposed to competition). I felt that way when I saw the Believe EX, so I can imagine how touching his new EX could be! Hopefully he does the same one in Kobe and in a future show that will be broadcast.

Oh, and glowing lettuce??

I was thinking about Yuzu's FS layout and a question popped up for me. If he were to fall on the 2nd 4T, it would have no combination, then the BV of the jump would be affected? Or would it only be counted as a 4T? Don't tell me it would be worth 0 points because of the damn Zayak rule.

For "Believe" we had enough for a fruit salad. For the new EX we're on a diet, only Lettuce and Seaweed.

it would be worth less as reapeated jump without combo. That's why I think he should throw that 2T to first 4T. It is not worth to waiting with 2T for 3rd quad

Yeah I was thinking about that too, it would be safer to go for the combo in the first 4T, even if the BV of the program would be slightly reduced. If the landing for the 1st quad is messy can he can't add the 2T, he can go for it in the 2nd. But then again, this is Yuzu we're talking about, when does he ever do something safely?

Can I ask you guys a favor? Im making a website and its about Yuzuru, but I cant come up with a name for the site! So I was wondering if you guys can come up with something creative. All the generic names are taken so im at a loss...any suggestions will help. Thanks

Re the quad combo, I'd rather have it in the second half like the rest of his combos with the 10 percent bonus: high risk but high gain. The key for him is stamina so I hope his training is up to the demands of his long program. In any case, I'm sure he and his team have devised fall back scenarios as we saw last year when the triple lutz double toe combo took the place of the planned quad toe double toe in the second half.
