I love Yulia, but she should've not placed ahead of Joshi or So Youn in the FS placements.

Messy skate from Lutricia. I wonder what her score will be?

Loved Bock yesterday but today :hopelessness:

Yulia was vastly overscored for that FS. Sorry Yulia, but it's true.

I am biased toward the music choice in Rika's case. She used the same music as the iconic program Jason had, Riverdance. By simple comparison she was much slower, slow spins...too simple. Lovely program if you forget Jason.

For a skater Who became so awful and unmotivated Julia lipnitskaia did amazing. She was going to retire. She was going to leave the sport. Glad she's still in it!

As for the jumps mistakes, I fear she needs to overhaul completely her jump technique. The mule kicking into her flip and the 2A are no nos

Could be the camera angle, but from what I see, her first 3F was a fine attempt, whereas her 2nd attempt at 3F was totally off-axis. It looks like she didn't take care to draw back completely over her picking foot before launching into the air, so that her weight was still too far forward, hence the sprawling fall. So, it looks to me less a problem with her technique, but loss of motivation to do it right after a major setback (the wonky 2S just before).

2 falls, and all of her triples looked UR. She needs to jump alot bigger. She shakes her head.

I think Yulia is a lovely skater, and I like the FS much better than her SP, as it suits her much better. Having said that, I just can't get over her obvious unhappiness and foul mood when she messes up. Her bows were so halfhearted, and she barely acknowledged the flower girls initially. I mean, I get it, you had a tough skate, anyone would be unhappy. But her poor attitude indicates a lack of maturity and graciousness that I just find off-putting. Hopefully she gets it together, both during her performances and afterwards.

Anyway, on a brighter note, I loved Rika's SP and LP. I love her energy level and her ability to perform- reminds me of Radionova in that regard, and they both have posture/refinement problems, though I think Rika has actually improved more over the last year than Elena (though Elena is my favorite). I find I am a fan of Rika now too!

Miller looked gorgeous- the dress is

Wish I could say the same about the jumps. This is not gonna place well I'm afraid.

I like Hannah's fp better than the sp. she is a totally different skater! Wow!! I didn't know Hannah was this good.

I do not agree on Jason's program to be iconic though. To me Riverdance performed by Shae-Lynn Bourne and Victor Kraatz is what iconic actually is.
