The lutz was far from pretty, I think this is why, although most feel that -1 was too harsh and 0 would have been a good mark. But then he got many +1s which were a bit generous, so it's all ok. Perhaps that judge was all, "I know, I just know that others will give that ugly combo +1s and I need to counteract it" lol.

I am ok if they gave him 0 GOE for that combo, but the final GOE was just 0.28 so there is not much difference. I think that UR call for 4T was a bit harsh, though. But more or less the score is on the same level as what he has gotten last season.
And please add me to the group: Please fix that costume!
But given his history of choosing costumes...:disapp:

His spins were just breathtaking, choreo improved so much, SS became just to die for...shame on that 4T, air position was so great. I have to say his costume looks fine, especially when he is spinning and after I have seen Mura's costumeI am so anxious to see SEIMEI, hope he can stand on his feet, the program is insanely difficult.
Can anyone give me a link to Mura's costume to make me feel better? I already had dinner so I think I am safe.

I've got a bad feeling about this...
It seems that my SPIRIT left my body and possessed the CAT to do that.
And LOL about the scratching! Thank GOD it was just the TV or else..Yuzu would look worse than he did after the collision at Cup of China.
Now, Yuzuru won't say he likes to BE a cat anymore.
On another note, the cat must have sensed "our" (I don't know who else but I'm definitely one of them) desire to rip that blouse apart (just NOT the face!). In that case,

I am actually one of those who kinda like the idea for the new costume, but it just need some altering in terms of cutting.
But Mura's costume is really just.....
That was my impression too, glad I didn't imagine it.How big is this rink, compared to the other for GPs?
Well, the rink at Barrie is Olympic size, but idk about the ones at the GP. Thinking about SC, rinks in Canada (save for Vancouver) always look smaller to me for some reason. While rinks in Japan (thinking about NHK) always look bigger to me.
Finally watched the SP! Yeah well the golden parts don't look too pretty while he's standing but in the move I think they look great. I really liked the golden belt and sleeves :yes: boy loves gold too much haha
That 3A was just so perfect, I adored it, good thing we'll see more of it this season. That 4T! I though he had it! The UR was a bit harsh but maybe, with a better camera angle, we would see it different, perhaps that UR was the reason the landing failed. Though I noticed he didn't use his usual entrance into the 4T, kinda reminded me of his 4S entrance
at least he landed the combo even if it was not the best, I think it's the best I've seen him land it in this SP (Worlds look UR to me, this one did not, he 3T seemed much better).He pretty much has it in the bag now but Nam won over him in TES, I guess this will just fuel him to get a better result today, hopefully it will be. Good luck to Yuzu today! Thankfully I will be able to watch that live!
I feel like this time it was Mura who inspected his Mom's wardrobe and cut all the flounces off her skirts to stick them to his costume. Ma-a-an...But Mura's costume is really just.....

lol yea that was random (and probably made so little sense) but couldn't help it. I was also wondering why did that thought come into my head
probably because he's a cutie and idk maybe a lot of people would like to be able to pinch him or pick him up by the waist (like how people do to a little kid) and that's (the golden part) where you put your hand to pick him up so they won't hurt him (sorry this makes less and less sense)Anyway... The golden part on his sleeves are fine but gosh I wish they had done that middle sides part differently.
I think the saddest part was....there was no "pooh" rain for this competition.
Haha yea the announcement told the audience not to throw stuff to the ice.. plus otherwise, it'll be so striking the difference. Between Yuzu and the other skaters I suppose.
