HI everyone:

Here is the post about my experience this week in Barrie. Please ignore the amount of fan-girling I did in this post - it was an AMAZING experience. I hope you enjoy.

Amazing post! What interests me most was the part of practice. Your description about how his routine in jumps is different is nice! Other than that, there are too many to read, so I can't write all of my feelings here. Thank you!:)
About the rink size, I have the same thought as you. When I see him at shows, I always feel rinks are too small for him. I'm wondering how is the size of the venue of SC.

Actually Skate Canada in just in 2 weeks. I guess it was good call to do Autumn Classic as he will be in consistent training situation during that time and he will have good competition feeling under his legs there

With me it's the left side not working, only the right side. I almost thought that my earphones were broken. Lol

thats what happened to me too, i even thought my pc was broken until i tried to watch it without earphones haha

LOL omg I'm sorry

yeah its so annoying, but wanna know whats more annoying? when you find out that left side of your earhpones is not working:laugh:

and thanks everyone for links and news! so much to catch one

Which part? I don't remember hearing it but I know it happened during other skaters' (can't remember who) performance.. Nam I think? there's this slight pitch/note change/fluctuation it's so weird lol.

And did anyone else hear the weird out of tune sound during the Chopin broadcast?

To won0066 thanks for the report!! I'm gonna read as soon as I can ;)

About Yuzuru's step sequence level 2, There's an article in Russian written by a specialist explaining why he lost the level in step sequence.

Apparently he missed something in competition compared to his step sequence in practice, so it's not like the step sequence was designed for level 2, it's his fault ha ha. He needs more practice, be less nervous and he will get the level.

My friend is translating the article. I will share it here when she finishes it.

We don't have to worry that he will change the entire step sequence just to get some bonus points.

Apology accepted. But next time SC, it's okay to mis spell names. JUST NOT Yuzuru Hanyu's. Or the tide will go against you.
Anyway, I wonder how many have COMPLAINED for them to even care changing it?

After rewatching practice video I agree costume needs to be more tighten to show his lines in choreography

I totally second you on that. Better yet, they can just put all the "bling blings" on the Black under armour as he already looks so good in it (as in the Free Program OP).
But I'm afraid he'll go from foxy magician to a jaguar magician.

Sano san is concerned about the step sequence that Yuzuru needs more movements (2:42)

I DID! :eek:And I thought there's something wrong with my speakers! I even hit it many times to get it to work properly (I gotta apologize to the poor things after this:biggrin:). But it's definitely a turn off. Now that little "OUT OF TUNE" is etched in Barrie's history.:laugh2:

ahkeekee was right. There was this unflattering twist of music (like in a horror movie) right at the beginning of the Chopin. It's around 0:55-1:00 of this video. do you Hear it?

Hi!! Thanks. The rink in Lethbridge is NHL size. 85' x 200'. Its narrower so all skaters will have to adjust.

I have just had the chance to see his Barrie Programs. Ballade No. 1 was very impressive! Yuzu and the TCC team did a very good job reinventing the program while still staying true to the original. The costume might be a little bit "baggy" or wide on the side by the new beige fabric. Overall beautiful, not to mention that 3A's entrance and exit!

SEIMEI: New program, new season. It has lots of growing potential. 4S was fantastic and the 4T was pretty good besides the touch down. I like the second footwork better than the first, it seems that it's more developed. The first footwork sequence is a bit lacking. Costume is really stunning and fits well, too. Can't wait to see what this program evolves into!!!

Thanks for sharing! Looking forward to reading the whole article.

It troubled me somehow and also it is strange none of the media asked him about this, and he didn't mention this himself. I remember after SP, he said he still need to modify the stsq (stsq for SP is level 4 ). But after FS, only jump issues are brought up.
