ahkeekee was right. There was this unflattering twist of music (like in a horror movie) right at the beginning of the Chopin. It's around 0:55-1:00 of this video. do you Hear it?

OOHHHH!! Right I heard that   such a strange tune.. it's like the sound made when you're tuning an instrument or something like that. Their audio is really something haha.

I like the second footwork better than the first, it seems that it's more developed. The first footwork sequence is a bit lacking.

It could be a question of experience and focus. Yuzu performed the choreo sequence many times through the summer and it's a the end of the program when he can let it all go. That first footwork was stunning in the practice runtrough, despite being slower and seemingly simpler. I hope Yuzu will be able to perform it that way in competion by the GPF.

Now, not only fans and fellow skaters but even other coaches wants to meet the infamous pooh bear :o:
Why this link doesn't work for me???? :(
LOL omg I'm sorry [emoji23]

Which part? I don't remember hearing it but I know it happened during other skaters' (can't remember who) performance.. Nam I think? there's this slight pitch/note change/fluctuation it's so weird lol.

Ikr!!! I thought my ears went wrong or my internet is the culprit!

I can't imagine if I was skating and this sound happened to my music lols!!

This is quite interesting, it appears that his stsq traces out a Yin/Yang sign on the ice? A fan was marking down his turns/steps and this is what they ended up with. Maybe someone can kindly translate what they said? Is it just a coincidence or was it planned? Balance of the spiritual and the physical, the good and the bad, the yin and the yang...SEIMEI??

Can anyone translate, please.

@Yuzu Beloved Angel, in the meantime here is the translation of the Xylitol commercial and a small part of another making of video.

:agree: Now that he's got a magician priest program, he needs a stealthy ninja program in a tight black outfit.

Yes! Yes! :cheer2:

Autumn Classic Medal Ceremony

Thank you so much for the uploader of this video. This had many bloopers I kept on laughing while watching this!

#1: I find it a bit funny how SHORT the "red carpet" is from the boards. It's 10 steps away from the entrance! (maybe I got too used to the looooong blue carpets at Grand Prix events) Well, one nice thing about it is that, the medalists don't have to travel so far to the podium. In fact, they could just glide past it and come back later.:)

#2: Yuzuru is famous for his "Jumps" on the podium. But not at Barrie. He felt the need for quality check and just has to TEST the poor wood if it could hold his weight (as if he's any heavier). Glad it did. So Quality approved:agree:

# 3: After the medals and flowers were given, the announcer said "Ladies and gentlemen! Please rise for the national anthem of the gold medalist!"
So of course, SEIMEI would look for his flag. But he looked around and found no such thing exists! So he, Nam and Sean were like, "Where? Where's our flag?" Lucky enough, I think the 'loving audience' provided the banners (as indicated by Yuzuru pointing to the audience and they faced there).

# 4: It started when Yuzuru accepted the medal and bowed. Since then, whenever Hanyu bows (READ: often) in the podium, the silver and bronze medalists bow too! Okay bowing is the best way to say thank you. But the bows are just very Yuzuru. It's like the other two just does what he does to the point that it's so synchronized! (cute!). Well, it's Sean's first INter( and considering he's Yuzuru's podium pupil) so he's allowed to mimic the OGM for now. But Nam...hehe, maybe Japan's politeness rubbed on him too.

# 5: Photo shoot of the medalists. Sean is obviously learning from Yuzuru as he was about to join Yuzu in his podium.
Sean-(stops) "What? Not yet? Aren't I supposed to take pictures with them?".
Yuzuru (whispers) "That's later Dude. "
Sean - Oh, sorry I forgot.

Then came the group photo where Hanyu tells Sean to show his medal and flowers.Even Nam joined the lessons! Such a great sensei he is!

# 6: The height comparison is funny too. Nam was so proud. Yuzuru was hopeless. Sean preferred NO COMMENT (as he is the tallest of the three) LOL!

# 7: The smelling of the medals and flower including the, "Chotto(means hey or wait?)-- Shon! Shon!" after the selfie. (His voice was so clear too!)

I'm not nitpicking here okay? There are just many wonderful moments in this ceremony that I just had to get off my chest.
To Yuzuru's victory and his new found friendships! Cheers!!!

To the owner of the video...I OWE YOU MY LIFE!

Thank you all for valuable information and links.

won0066 Your report is beautiful. You could materialize in their personal experience words, during the days of competition and graced us with details on the performance of Yuzu, during practice, we did not know. I'm so glad you were able to deliver your gift. Congratulations and thank you for your report.

Alia, thank you immensely for CM xylitol translation link.

And did anyone else hear the weird out of tune sound during the Chopin broadcast?

Yes, I definitely heard the weird out of tune music near the beginning of the program and I was afraid that this was going to continue and put Yuzuru right off. I noticed that other skaters' programs also had occasional off key music. Terrible sound system.
