For me Shoma won the free

Uno did win the free. Aaron was second in the FS and first overall. He won on the strength of his SP. Seems fair to me. They were clearly the top two guys of the night.

Idk if I'm happy about Aaron's win because yay he won but like I highly doubt he'll back it up at his next GP and qualify for the GPF... He needs at least bronze to solidify his spot right?

Denis - a mess

Adian - good performance for him

Shoma - poor him; great free skate; would've won with a a good program and fair components

Jason - okay performance

Max - good jumps but choreographically very subpar program and components should be on the scale of Adian...probably even less

Do you have a video of Stephanie? Her hiphop and Ghost Dances programs from nationals are two of my favorites, but I can't find any more of her.

Not of her "Mission" unfortunately. I saw it in person at Sectionals in 2003 (?). It was breathtaking.

Congrats to Max! And glad to see Jason move up to be on the podium after being in 8th place. And Shoma was brilliant - I think he was better here than the JO!

I was sick to my stomach during Max's skate because I didn't want him to fall and just as I got comfortable... but man, CONGRATS!! I agree about the fact of where is the choreography but he's still amazing to watch. That means when he improves the artistic side he would kill it everytime.

Congratulations to Max, Shoma and Jason. What a great podium.
I may be wrong but I think that Jason had the highest PCS for the short and the long. Think of the potential there.
