I think Max could make it to the GPF along with Uno. But we'll see....since ice is slippery with holes, sequins, concrete and boards.

And can I also say that D10 , you kill meguess as a fan, I just need to not watch him til 4CC
Can you imagine being a fan of both D10 and Soyoun Park?
It was one of those nights when a skater, Max, was on fire and a speed daemon. Whatever the shortcomings, it was an exciting skate, with the kind of excitement that touches some and brings them out of their seats. Hope he can continue to do that well the rest of the season. Shoma had much the same effect.

Agreed. I had Max way down in 6th, but I couldn't be happier for him.
Max had a clean SP (whereas Shoma fell on his quad), and he had a cleaner LP than Shoma -- Shoma had a lot of shaky landings, whereas the 2A was Max's only problem jump - Aaron got much higher GOE on his quads (26.06 for his 4S and 4S+2T; Shoma got 23.89).
Of course, Shoma's programs and skating qualities were better. But Max was cleaner on the whole. I actually expected the judges to give Max PCS on par with Shoma, given home ice, but his PCS was where it should have been for an essentially clean freeskate with 2 clean quads and 2 clean triple axels.

I'm actually a fan of both! I've actually given up on her ever having PCS above 50s.

You think? I am not sure... They have been too harsh on him. Let's see.
They saw the event live in Milwaukee. That may have rather changed their opinion on him.
At the moment, I am just so happy with Max's win. For once, I didn't jinx anyone.
Again, he needs to change his leggings to better pants. We all know he has nice rear and front packages, but those leggings are just too much to watch.
I am imagining if Max keeps improving his component part, he will be even better!

He won and deserved it. Thank goodness the judges aren't Max haters like some fans.

Just a hideous strap across the asymmetrical neckline (which looks even deeper cut, the strap seems to be to prevent nip-slip), and some jewels at the neckline and the waist hem. It's like a bastardised version of the second Prince costume only in black. They really do need to remove Rohene from the costuming process.

I agree that I hope the photo was just taken at the wrong time. Shoma should indeed be proud, nothing to be upset about. Of course, I understand why Max, skating his heart out, and Jason, pulling a third from the other men's disasters and his own well deserved PCS, would be happy....

From the little I've seen, Shoma is a pretty stoic guy, though I'm not sure if it's cultural or personal stoicism. I'm sure he's not overly disappointed.And LOL at when people have legitimate critiques about a program it's considered bashing.
Anyway, very happy for everyone on the podium, and the placements were spot-on. Although I'm heartbroken for Han just because he's a personal favorite.

When he's smiling full-on he's actually embarrassed.
