MAO MAO MAO I was pretty much crying with happiness just to see her back.

URs or no URS, her components are (or should be) completely unmatched.

The jumps did look a little short though. Come on, Mao, rotate your jumps next time and beat your own WR!!

People keep harping on about how Gracie Gold should be doing a Loop instead of Flip in short. Can we instead move that for Mao now? She has such a secure loop, at least when not in a combination, and yet they're still going for the precarious Lutz. :shocked:

Why not just go triple flip triple toe and then a loop. Out goes the edge call, out goes the >

well obviously I wasnt comparing elements & the ability to do them
But potentially when she's on Ade can do jump difficult elements
I more meant choreo & music is more for my taste so its just personal taste
Not questioning Mao's achievment at all! She's a star & really well prepared.

Mao's transitions seemed just fine to me, the Russian ladies have way too many transitions and it looks busy and does nothing for the program

Its the comparison though. When the field isn't doing much transitions, it may not matter. But the expectations have changed a bit from Yuna Mao times. Still, can't help but be excited for this season. It's going to be a cracker, as those eurosport guys love to say..
