Yes, that attempt to twist Yuzurus words into something bad to justify what Patrick said or to make what he clearly said seem like a mean-spirited interpretation... I don't even know what to say to that. Tell any person who has never heard of either of them about those 2 statements, even with context, and it's so obvious what they would say was the nice and what the bad comment. Ridiculous.

I personally would like to see Patrick get back to the level he was before, the other men will only get better as the season goes on, and I think so will he. SC can be nothing but a motivation for him.

Yes Patrick was very nice kid when laughed at Joubert in 2010, I remember everything perfectly, i remember junior Patrick too, I am old woman with good memory. as for Yuzu, he always sends toys to different kindergardens and hospitals, in Shanghai 2015 he apologized that he couldn't take all toys to Japan and asked staff to send them in necessary places, later volunteers noticed his mom collecting every fan letter from toys to take with them1) I am NOT saying yuzu behaved badly at all. 2)jerk and arrogant are similar in my books... so if you are saying that patrick is arrogant and dismissive of other skaters then yup.. you are saying he is a jerk....and "specific lines" oh wow...i mean... if you are saying patrick is so nice and wonderful but a couple times in his life, a couple words he said were off.... i'd be okay with it... but since I joined the forum, all I read is Patrick is this or that... so much hate... for what two lines?? have you ever said anything that could be either inappropriate or misinterpreted??? are you being called up on it everyday of your life?
in any case, and I have said it many times, I like both skaters, what I do not appreciate is that there is a label put on each of them's forehead that says "nice" "not nice" and I think that 1) it's ridiculous as most of we know about them is from medias... 2) very simplistic.... humans tend to be a mix of both

Thank you. It was these words that turned me from a ten year lurker to a poster. If this is a war between the Patrick bashers and the Patrick "ubers" (I've always considered myself a fan but I guess on this threads I'm an uber) I can be proud that Chuckm is not on my side. They can have him.
