2015-16 Grand Prix Final Ladies SP

Dang, Gracie would have the lead by a little if she were clean on 3T (double footed?) and have 3F!

sorry gal but she is all that and a huge bag of ship fabulous beyond her years withf yuna's abilities .

yeah. Then, out of sudden s*** and puberty happen. And if some troubles will happen, will Eteri be still with her? And more working on core, pls, sorry

Wagner : Well she'll do better next time. Arutunian looked sort of mad at her on the k&c. Maybe he didn't want her to try putting the 3toe after the loop. Or maybe he's pissed she missed the opening combo because she's now consistent with it in practice.

Radionova : I'm surprised I actually enjoyed the routine tonight (apart from the step sequence). I liked her grit, nailing the combo with the loop.

Asada : Fabulous 3 axel. Good combo. Then so slow into the lutz. She didn't sell the step sequence as well as at other events IMO but still, love you Mao!!!

Miyahara : Solid as always. Have the judges finally noticed her UR? ^^

Medvedeva : Distracting and awfully ugly over half of the boot socks. Other than that. Absolutely superb SP!! Love her. She's already beautiful and for sure she'll grow even more beautiful in the years to come. Can't wait to see how she develops.

Gold : Maybe next time.

US skating in a nutshell:
Ladies are headcases when the stakes are high
Men can't do quads
Pairs can't do SBS jumps
Dance thank God we are good at something

I immediately thought.......who is that Russian with a perfect English accent yelling "go Gracie" as she took her starting pose. Clearly any American fan of Gracie would know better than to do that.

Why was the crowd booing Satoko's scores? Did they not show the replays in there. Her TES dropped like 4 pts. She could have scored a 72 or even more.

She does? Evegnia is one of my fave current ladies, but her jumps are...not the greatest.

Well that might be true, but if her "weakness" involves doing all of the jumps in her SP on the second half and tanoing almost all of them, that's pretty good.

Gracie, why~ because this really looks like your year to podium. And yes, you are miles better than Satoko.
But I am happy that Evgenia delivers and pushes the sports to another new level. Without her backloaded program, there won't be a clear winner.

& yay Lenok too!
haters to the left
continue to be proud of my miss Sunny:hap93: she can sell anything to anyone & make it work!:dev2:

Simon's starting to make a habit of making big calls.

After saying that Yuzu is the greatest male skater of all time yesterday, today he reckons Zhenya will be the greatest female skater of all time.

It's all coming back to me now. He used to constantly call the end of career for Federer in Tennis since 2008. And yet Federer is still near the top, 7 years later. At that time I used to think Simon Reed was a complete______ (can't type it here).

But I sort of forgot that over time and mellowed to him. He's starting to annoy me again. Certainly not a fan. The fact is, his predictions usually blows up in his face, so one can only guess how things he vouches for will go. :palmf:

Heartbroken for Gracie, but she's definitely in the mix for a medal anyway. Her all-around jump technique and skating skills can move her up in the ranks if she goes clean.

I'm going to chalk this one up to flip problems (DO THE LOOP) instead of headcasing.

Ok, with a 5-point lead the title is Evgenia's to lose, but there are only 3 points between Elena on 2 and Gracie on 5. The podium could still be interesting ...
