Any gif. makers here? I really really really want to see the end of her new spin, the exit of it, right before the 3-3. After she pulls it up into that new Biellmann position for this year she then exits and raises her arms to create a shape of some sort. I think it would be a great gif. :yes:

I'm late to the party, but I only just watched the Russian Nationals ladies skates... and what a joy to see Julia's SP, her reaction at the end, and the positive vibes in the kiss and cry! The move to Urmanov really seems to be making a visible - and positive - difference to her, and her skating.

Hoping for a clean skate tomorrow too!

I really liked Yulia's 'Schindler's List', but never really warmed up to her either before that or after. And this Elvis program and it's packaging was just... not my cup of tea before this point.

I don't know what the hell Urmanov did in just a month with Lipnitskaya, but that program was by far my favorite ladies' short of the season.

Edit: I definitely saw the fire within Yulia and Elena but could not see it from Liza's and Adelina's performances.

The long program could be more difficult. However, what was so great about today was her performance and the spirit she showed. There is a big, huge improvement already and that is what we all were hoping for. She is on the right track.

I completely agree! I cringed when I first saw the Elvis SP but this performance just blew me away it was so good and charming! The new coach has worked a miracle

Congratulations to Yulia for great performance! I got really emotional too after she started crying, i really hope she will skate clean tomorrow and claim her Euro/World spot back!
Also, its great to see the newly formed bond with Urmanov, and i am sure having Deniss as one of your training mate helps your mood too
