2016 Europeans Short Dance

Two of my favorites closing out the competition! Ohhh and I spy Anna's pretty new dress! Actually, pretty dresses all over the practice group (with the exception of Charlene's which should be destroyed ASAP).
 
Wow, they just moved from Moscow to Detroit? Good Luck!!:)
I did not see their whole program, but they always have natural flow and maturity in their skating. :)

You know, it's funny. We have so many good Ukrainian Ice Dancers in this competition, yet they are all representing other countries. And the couple that is actually representing the Ukraine are quite poor.

Makes you wonder where their federation has gone wrong.

so much for hoping higher PCS Alisa and Alper :sad21: not as high as they hoped for but better than TEB, hopefully they will do better! did they change the lift? :think: it didnt seem as smoth
 
I love how this announcer says people's names for some reason. Also, Anna's new dress is gorgeous and very "1950s wedding dress", which I happen to like. Ekaterina's dress is also pretty, but why are Dmitri's coat tails so long? It's kinda distracting. Gabi and Guillaume look extremely elegant. I like Penny's dress but again, Nicholas' coat tails are distractingly long. Whoever has the cream dress with with the Ruffles and striped trim looks delightfully vintage but her partner's pants are too tight.

Nazarova and Nikitin who represent Ukraine are actually quite decent, and have lots of potential. She is hurt at the moment, but they'll hopefully be back for Worlds.
 
Oh, hurry up and come back Eurosport.

You're going to miss the start! :drama:

EDIT: They wound the tape back to get the start (and hide the fact that they were late back).

This team isn't one of my favorites, but they do skate this very BIG, and with a lot of energy, so I enjoy it. You can tell they're having a great time out there.
 
Really impressive! If only they would ditch the costumes then I'd be totally on board (I know it's horribly shallow, but tyey're really tragic).
 
I have never gotten the judgelove for G/F, but at least they have FINALLY STOPPED COPYING EVERY SINGLE ELEMENT/PROGRAM/MUSIC THAT WORKED FOR SOMEONE THE YEAR BEFORE. Interesting that their partial ss, at least 1/3rd to 1/2 of it is not skated in hold.
