Okay, this is/was Meryl and Charlie's music, and I do not like other ice dance teams using it , but they're doing a nice job with it. And I like her dress.

Nazarova and Nikitin who represent Ukraine are actually quite decent, and have lots of potential. She is hurt at the moment, but they'll hopefully be back for Worlds.

True. But, you would have thought that the federation would have tried to encourage Agafanova, Spodriev, etc. to stay representing the Ukraine, so that they would have more than just one good couple available.

It is situations like this when the star name is out of action that you start to realise that some countries are not in as strong a position as you (or their federation!) thought.

I think their height difference is actually too much- it makes the lifts really pop but it also makes it look like he's dragging her along sometimes even though I don't actually think her skating skills are any worse than his.

I liked C/L but to me P/C was more pleasant. Off-topic, did Ondrej Hotarek retire? =O In B.ESP one of the guys said "former pair skater"...I really missed that!
