YES I LOVE Mikhail!! He has better presentation than Kovtun and his programs are very entertaining!! I hope he can finish above Kovtun at Worlds

Mikhail is a real talent. I find he has great postures and lines, even though the program does not showcase them as much as it would in a lyrical and emotional program. His basics are very solid and his performance qualities are never reduced by technical burden, or crowds' overwhelming reaction from a previous performer (Florent). Mikhail and Deniss are my new favorites from this event.

I guess it was Rai commentators. On Eurosport Italy they weren't very complimentary with the US nationals men results with comments like "only in the US someone with 6 quads could be ranked third; when Hendrickx finished his short, "in US they would give him at least 90 points"; "they are like the last samurais".

I loved Javis free program but was sad with the mistakes He is far beyond the other European skaters and deserved to win. I'm also happy that Bychenko skated well and could get a medal. But I really don't understand how Kovtun could get the second highest marks for components :noshake: and because of this get the bronze medal ... In my opinion Florent Amodio was better in the components and deserved this medal ...

With as much overscoring as Kovtun got, Medvedeva will get 75.

The choreographic move out of the 3A2T, checking the watch, then STSQ was so brilliant. He has so much improvements this season, but the most admirable quality to me is how cool and relaxed he is while performing a role and completing the technically demanding elements. He skates as if he does not feel any pressure. what a Showmanship!

Not to take anything away from Mr. Javi, but I wish all my favorites could share the same judge system with him

It happens every competition when someone doesn't medal and people are not happy. It happens. Nothing's 100% fair. Like for me, there was a guy who used to be my favorite singer but after a while, me and other fans realized how much he lied and didn't actually care. And I still want him to get punished for what he did.

So for this competition, I'm going to say:

Congrats Javi on breaking 300 and joining the 100, 200, and 300 club with your buddy and pal Yuzuru!

Alexei: Congrats on your first Euros medal and making history for Israeli singles skating!

Maxim: Your SP is still awesome and congrats on your 2nd Euros medal! I hope the hip is okay.

Deniss: 12th at your first Euros! Yippiee!!!!

That interview with Kovtun on the Russian feed was painful to watch. It went n and on and on. That journalist is a sadist. And poor guy was just shell shocked, why even bother to torture someone like that?

The reason Florent did not get onto the podium was because he was nearly 10 points behind Kovtun in the SP!!!
