2016 Four Continents Mens SP

That's the thing. Boyang deserves first, no question, but why give the high pcs scores when he does not deserve them? It's so annoying when this happens and it's obvious to all. The free program will definitely tell the tale, though.

Because Boyang brings the sex.

OMG I loved both kids, but the 4Lz3T was out of this world. I still can't believe it's true. Shoma is a dream skater...I always enjoy watching his programs. Thank you for the daily motion videos

I"m trying to imagine Boyang actually doing Parisienne Walkaways.... :) Interesting.

Don't worry. Lori would never give him something as exciting as Parisienne walkaways - rock has never been her style. Instead he'll be performning one jazzy sp after another for the next three years ;)

But looking at Han Yan, I kind of think jazz would suit Boyang since it is such a playful music. Han Yan is too serious-looking for jazz. Han Yan should do something with Imperial March.

Is there a problem with the ice?!?! I wasn't paying too much attention but Patrick's coach said something like 'you did what you could with this ice'...

Yes if you look at it it has light and dark spots. The darker spots are thin and going to the cement underneath. So it is probably not even and very thin in places meaning they have to keep it very hard to keep it cold and then you can't get into the ice well. It gives no spring.
No excuses skaters know how to use it but the ISU is suppose to be monitoring that and it seems they don't give a crap. Like it or not good ice makes a difference and it can cause injuries especially in pairs.

9.00 for Boyang in SS :disapp: Seriously? And Takahito Mura didn't even get one!

What a waste of time staying up for the men. Should have gone to sleep after that terrific ice dance competition.

Off to bed for a few hours.

:bed:

Jin's jumps are to die for :D
Hope he will improve his SS...
That was one of his best performances: it is a pity his FP is much weaker :/

Chan got what he deserved...

lol, at least Boyang will have one fan who likes his jazzy programs :agree: go you!

I really liked zigeunerweisen for han a few years ago... I thought that music really suited him. Hopefully he'll skate to something in that vein and not another jazzy program.

I really hope Boyang will improve his SS too so that the PCS would actually reflect more of his skating, not just his jumping.
