Mao's performance was lovely. The 3Axel was borderline and could have gone either way, I think. But I enjoyed that performance and the crowd gave her a standing ovation. A bit underscored I think. Her inconsistency this season really hurt her PCS/reputation points, though.

Now watch other skaters who also do seven-triples (sans 3Axel) get scored 10 to 15 points higher in the final group...

It didn't hurt Gracie Gold's scores. And I can't fathom anyone being more deserving of reputation points than Mao...

I missed part of Elizabet because my mom heard me freaking out about Mao, and started lecturing me on why watching figure skating for hours on end was bad. And why I should wear a jacket over pajamas.

But, apart from the fall, she was nice.

How funny...............I always begged Todd Eldridge to wear gloves...He had the worst hands. He did make up for it by having great legs and a serious engine.....

it wasn't a joke actually, i've noticed that russian skaters always wear gloves.
