Reminder: There are no WRs in figure skating and the scoring system is different. The GOE awarded currently is also lower than back then.
They did her dirty on her PCS.

I know Evgenia is very happy and excited, but when I see her like that, I remember the wonderful look that Radio and Lip shared at Russian Nationals. God, where's the gif of that, we need to have that as a reaction gif in the forum

Shows that Ashley has all the goods but she still needs to work on her very basic fundamentals. Shes still making mistakes that costs her points here and there. I was hoping that she actually wins the gold medal instead of Evgenia. Nevertheless, props to Evgenia for skating 2 completely clean programs although she had a bogus lutz.
And once again, Gracie succumbs to pressure. I don't blame her, but she should start looking out for a good sports psychologist soon and she has never ever skated a clean SP and LP if I recalled correctly. If she does, she will be unstoppable even in the face of the usually inflated Russians.

Saying this in the presence of anger, but why not give the Evgenia LP video downvotes too because shes even more ridiculously overscored than Gracie? (Please don't do that to either skater) I guess Mao Asada should just retire now in the midst of all these Russian overscoring. When an American is slightly overscored, everyone overreacts. When the Russians have been all along overscored (with the exception of Pogo and Elena, they're slightly underscored if you place them beside Evgenia), people take their overdramatic 'musicality' and say it deserves higher PCS than the big names. (Evgenia has more PCS than Asada???????) Elena knows figure skating at the back of her hands, and there is a reason why she appears to hate Evgenia. Even their own kind is irritated at the Evgenia overscoring. Personally, Yuna's LP felt more memorable when I first saw it compared to the W/E program by Evgenia which I actually have little memory of it as of now.

I cried for Mao, Evgenia and Gracie... Why take that medal away from Gracie? She is such a beautiful Fire Bird!!! I cannot accept the results... 
I am so happy for Ashley!!! I'm glad she finally got a world medal and the silver medal at that. I wish she'd done a better technical performance (with NO URs), but I'm glad her performance quality got the recognition it deserves. So awesome!
Medvedeva was great but her score was too high. Pogo and Miyahara were also great. I am sorry about Gracie. I think there was a bit of home cooking with the marks- Gracie would've won with a WR score if she'd gone clean. That doesn't seem right to me (and neither does Medvedeva having the WR score).

What a plot twist it is that Anna's a worlds medalist and Radionova is nowhere near the podium! I wonder how the balance of power will change in Russian fed?

She also got +1~2 GOEs for both of her barely eeeked out 2As. Holding up your arm over your head does not make a bad jump good.
