Has anyone performed this spin in the past? I cannot remember seeing it before. Is this finally the official candidate for the future ISU-recognized "Lipnitskaia spin"?
I think it's technically I spin but I have never seen such an I spin before, it's already become her patent now
It obviously starts as an I-Spin with the leg raised from the forward position, but then she manages to get her upper body in front of it. In the end it is some form of crossbreed between the I-Spin and a Biellmann. In short, she merged her two most spectacular spins into one.

She should get at least one spot and that's all she was guaranteed last year. I wouldn't be surprised if she got another again. She is definitely a strong draw among fans. My guess which is based on nothing is Skate Canada and NHK.

Yup, the I-in-the-Skaya spin. Like "eye in the sky"...especially apropos considering that her leg is being pulled skyward.

Maybe it is a bit early to ask, but... is there anyone planning to go watching Russian National this year? I'm thinking about it since it fits my time schedule and won't be so expensive... Main problem is that I don't know Russian at all

I would think the majority of Russians would know at least some basic English. English is the most studied foreign language in Russia, and some videos of Russian nationals on YouTube (e.c. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X5D9tIy6Wn8) are commentated in English by native-Russian speakers. I personally would love to attend Russian nationals, unfortunately, it wouldn't work out for my time schedule. I would go for it if I were you. Good luck!
Question. Who was her other coach at Russian Nationals? Not AU, the other guy (someone posted photo of him on page 599 at bottom)-- appears to be AU's assistant. It's KILLING me because I know he was a former top skater but can't for the life of me remember who.
