Thank God. I hope they will not change their mind![]()
Haha her exact words were for sure no hip hop so I don't think they will be changing their minds. I think they decided on the style they're going for, all she said was that they have some music to choose from already but they haven't gotten to the choreography stage. And then she told me no more clues
I'm a little disappointed though - for me they're one of the few teams that could actually make hip hop work. Anyway, glad to learn they'll be choosing something 'out of the box' again; they are so refreshing to watch.
Hmm, the only team I see that will work so far is Virtue/Moir, their Sorry EX at CSOI was hip hop themed and I liked it and the audience had a lot of fun with it. Weaver/Poje also did a hip hop number to Get Low, and well, I just didn't think it fit. It was lively and they danced with people sitting at the sides but I just didn't feel it. Gilles/Poirier seem too quirky for hip hop.

Although I have to say I would love them to try, they can always change it if it'll be received badly. Nothing new for them, considering 'Sleeping Beauty' and glorious 'Dark Eyes' waltzes

Very excited to see the fruits of this collaboration!
