Strange scoring aside, the quality of his skating and the program overall was truly magical and of a completely different league. That's what elite skating is about. But he needs the quad, hoping he will get there as the season unwinds.

Thank you for sharing, itzme. It wouldn't be a skating board if we didn't gripe about the scoring, but I don't care how it's scored, I just want to see the program. Sounds like beautiful, vintage Jason.

I also don't care about quads, but I agree they are needed for higher scores.
