Okay guys. For fun (Which I do for a lot of programs skaters I like skate cause it's fun and exercises your mind), I calculated the potential score he could have gotten if there were no falls, no popped jumps, all three combos (And sort of guessing what could have been) were there in the FP and thus making the 2nd 4S have full points for the base value, all spins and StSq be level 4, and adding up the negative GOE to be zero (For fairness measures since 0 is in the "middle."). This is going to be a long post so hold on:
For the SP: His score was 78.01 with a TES of 38.76 and a PCS of 39.25. The PCS score stays as it is because...well yeah. So what I did was add 10.3 to make a 4T, add 2 to make the -2.00 GOE go to zero, and add 0.4 to make the CCSp3 to CCSp4. That adds 12.7 to the score. Which will makes the PCS stay at 39.25 but the TES goes up to 51.46 and thus making the SP score 90.71.
For the FP, it was a bit longer to calculate. In the FP, he got 163.21 with a TES of 83.21 and a PCS of 82.00. The score was 2 points lower than the two values calculated since he had two falls. So first we add two back into the score. Then we add 4+4 for the two quads that he fell on which gave them a -4.00 GOE each. Apparently his CCSp3 got a -0.06 GOE on it, we add 0.06 back into it. Then the 3Lz got -1.12, so we simply add 1.12 back. As a reminder, when I add numbers back to the GOE, this is only to get the GOE back to zero. No positive numbers for fairness to the calculation. Then we subtract 7.35 and then add 10.5 to get the full value of the 2nd 4S if he hypothetically did it. Which then leads us to figuring out the other two combo jumps that didn't happen. As me and someone noticed from the protocol, he didn't do a 3Lo at all. Deciding if it would go into the 3S or 3F for the combo wouldn't matter for hypothetical calculation matters since it'll still be 5.61 points for the base value. So then we simply add 5.61. The 2nd 4S will have to be a combo jump. So as someone mentioned above, maybe it'll be a 3-jump combo making it a 4S-2T-2Lo. So that'll add 1.3 and 1.8 into the calculation as well. Finally, we add 0.4 and 0.6 respectively to the CCSp3 and StSq3 to level both of them up to level 4. So, that means we add 24.04 to the original score of 163.21 to get the PCS score stay at 82.00 but the TES will go up to a whopping 105.25. This will make the FP score a total of 187.25. Or you could have added the original TES and PCS together and add 22.04 instead to get the same results.
This will in turn give a total competition score of 277.96. Which is huge. Is it likely that it could happen to him to hit things cleanly enough to get that high of a score? It's possible, but I wouldn't put my bets on it to be honest. Considering how he doesn't a good reputation to be super clean and super consistent (I'm a huge fan and I admit that he doesn't have superb consistency). And that international scores are generally lower. But still it's always fun to calculate possible scores.
And this is actually SO much fun for me to calculate.
