guys, really late to the party but i am buying presents from Japan to me and i am really tempted to buy Aoi Honoo II (mainly for the pictures, although i do need more reading material... reading a book way over my skill level helped me a lot with english so maybe it will help me with japanese too haha). Soo what i wanted to ask is, anyone has it? and if you do, is it worth it in the photo department? I would love to buy it because part of it goes to Ice Rink Sendai IIRC, and because YUZURU...

It really worth it it's a good book for my japanese material but the pictures are beautiful , some are soo cute too [emoji4][emoji4][emoji4] [emoji1303][emoji1303][emoji1303]

On a totally shallow note, I loved how his skate gards matched the Seimei costume! I really would love the skategards to become the new bottlecovers and change with every program.

That would be cute. I think that if someone suggests this to his Japanese fans probably he would receive enough skate gards to open a store! I don't know when exactly the purple and green became the official skate gards, but I think he doesn't want to change them, maybe they're a gift or are connected to special memories. Well, again, next time he goes to one of Q&A programs in Japan, someone could maybe ask.

I am late... but Yuzuru's new exhibition program is just so breathtakingly beautiful :sad4: that I'm crying everytime I repeats it. Even without jumps he can do that. I am so scared of his injuries, it seems pretty bad this time around. He is a strong person, and I wish my energy wave of support can overcome the global distance so that it can reach him. Ganbare Yuzuru!!!

Suddenly sappy comments but I just can't help it, the skating quality and choreography of that EX program is so outstanding... questionable costume aside... XD

Was on a short flight with Delta again and they still had The Magnificent Nine available to watch in English. I recorded Yuzu's scene and transcribed the subtitles and added them to a video clip I had previously downloaded since I couldn't record sound. If anyone has a HQ version of this clip they can share I'd love to use that to add the English subs to.

Also, for the more tech-savvy of you, you can also use this free VPN: http://www.vpnbook.com/. It's actually not that difficult to setup and there are instructions on how to do it on the site as well (I use the OpenVPN option). I can try to help you if you need help though. It's been working smoothly for me to watch streams from CBC.

I started using this because I use youtube-dl to download videos from CBC and Hola only works in the browser.

Yes, the F1 but on the other hand, we watch live on CBC and then, we watch it again, relaxed as we know the results. Silver lining
