Victoria Sinitsina & Nikita Katsalapov

Today our guys fly to Sapporo via Seoul!! I hope they have a safe trip and can`t wait to see them again!!:luv17:

I guess I/Z will win nationals! They got 76,04 in the SD at Tallin Trophy today! Watch out everyone!:palmf:

I like IZ but I think these results are a bit over inflated. Like Mordovian ornament last year, I have eyes, I knew those wouldn't hold up in a serious comparison with other strong teams.

We'll see how well IZ do at Russian Nationals.

I know and were just kidding!😎
The Ice Dance event at Tallinn Trophy were overscored a lot and I don't take it serious at all!
But of course I/Z can medal at Russian Nationals like S/B and S/K. I think B/S will win!

I really like their deep edges this season, for me they MIGHT have the deepest ones from Russian teams. Their synchronisation, little stumbles and connection though still are downsides. As well as sorta bland programs but I still enjoyed them at CoC. They're both very good looking so maybe that could be another reason

Yet that result will count to their SB / PB right? :scratch2: It is certainly inflated unless some miraculous rise of form and skills happened in such a short span of time. I think that Ilinykh / Zhinganshin are not that strong but judges for whatever reason seem to like them and look through their shortcomings  I don't see them winning Nationals anyway.

Kinda prefer the purple one Vika wore earlier this season though....and her hair in a tidy bun 🙄

Good performance today, but they really need to make their programs Dostatni-proof. ;) Well, not specifically Dostatni, but all their elements need to be strong enough to hold up under the scrutiny of a harsh technical panel. The level twos here is something they need to work on. OTOH, their PCS were close to C/L's, so that's good. Overall solid score anyway.

Vika and Nik improved their GOE from CoC 5,70 to NHK 7,11 points. And their PCS from 34,24 to 34,44. So it was the Technical Panel that called them down on both step sequences. Only a level 2. It was a very tough panel.

its great that they're so close to CL! + wiht an italian tech person!
& twizzles!:yahoo:

wont be partying too early tho

:ghug: for tomorrow!

Skating right after the WC just put them in a disadvantageous position, so the result is fine and acceptable, but this panel is still too HARSH on them!

Damn twizzles...!!!:rolleye:
And the levels on the steps killed them in Sapporo! I fear I won`t see them in Helsinki next year! Im sad!:sad21:

Take it easy, Eisfee. :console: I think they still have time to practice and become technically stronger before the Nationals, so don't give up the hope halfway. For me their Tango in Japan is a much better performance and they are fortunate enough to be able to stand on their feet when their twizzles in the second set went off balance a bit, but the real problem with their lower scores here lies in the decreased BV of two steps in both programs. This is the first time in my life I checked the Dance Results after the event. :o: You can see I am already a dance expert.

BTW, who is the other guy in the K-and-C, except their coach?

I will try to take it easier!! It is sooo disappointing. They have so difficult step sequences and only earned level 2 at NHK. Hope they can fix their levels until Nationals!

The other guy was Massimo Scali!!!:)
