When was the last time we had 7 men in CAN to talk about as possible World Team members!
I just wanted to say I just watched Kaetlyn's short program at Marselles, and I am very happy for Kaetlyn Osmond. Thank goodness she doesn't have to resort to tanoes and backloading to get that score, ha! well deserved. A mature, sophisticated, and powerful skate.

Thank you!!! I agree 100%. I know that Tano's are difficult and I'll never blame Med for the huge numbers she garners because she is able to execute them well under pressure. She definitely earns her big numbers. As an older fan, I have to say that I prefer kaetlyn's sophisticated and "Showgirl" like, style of skating. I hope they both skate perfectly in the free, and I would REALLY love to say Kaetlyn skate light's out take this event. Hopefully she doesn't feel the pressure but, she has become the hope for the North American Fans.. Go Kaetlyn....![]()

.........Here's Skate Canada's press release at the end of the second day of the GPF...
https://skatecanada.ca/2016/12/duhamel-and-radford-win-bronze-world-record-for-virtue-and-moir/
And here's the CBC story http://www.cbc.ca/sports/olympics/winter/figureskating/duhamel-radford-bronze-1.3890083
Maybe I'm being to much of a "glass half empty" on the coverage, but to me the story should be along the lines of
"Canada continues to show its strength in ice dance, pairs and men's disciplines, and is Kaetlyn Osmond is poised to make a breakthrough for Canada in ladies."
Or perhaps everyone is holding back to avoid putting too much of the pressure of our hopes on Kaetlyn. She's already shown again and again that she is the one to break the ceiling...Perhaps it's time to give her our maximum energy...

Nadeau didn't get the TES minimums for Worlds, but he did get them for 4CC. If he wants to go to JW, he would have to go to a Junior event and get those TES minimums.
