Wow hopefully the actual fans sent those crazy people to the police!!! After seeing the results of the Nationals today, how can there is still people who don't want Yuzu to go to Worlds?!! Not trying to be rude but as of now we could see that JSF needs Yuzu as much as Yuzu needs them, or u could even say JSF needs him more! Not only that, other Japanese skaters really need Yuzu to go to Worlds bc they can only go when Japan has 3 spots and well u need Yuzu for that. So, what the hell are these people thinking?!!
I feel bad for Yuzu. He used to get hate when trying to surpass his seniors and now he gets another one bc he's at the top and people are trying to bring him down. This stressful loop is what I dislike from Japan's figure skating world. They have like the biggest money and gives probably the best support to their athletes especially in terms of facilities, but their emphasis of "number 1" and "ace" is really annoying.
The pressure as the number 1 skater in the world is stressful enough, but Yuzu needs to face another even more stressful environment of being the ace of Japan. I'm glad Yuzu chose to train in Canada back in 2012 and TCC has been his home rink since then. I'm thankful that he has the chance to get away at least a little bit from this craziness. I loved how Brian called TCC as his skaters safe place because I feel like Yuzu really needs that.

Interestingly, it seems like Nanami Abe's kids are ok in jumps? Shizuka and Yuzu turned out alright. (or it may be due to their overwhelming talent and hardwork)

One reason why JP keeps promoting Shoma might be because they are preparing for the eventual day when Yuzu retires. They might be worrying that the state of FS will go down without another star to anchor the sport so they are pushing Shoma into the spotlight as much as they can before Pyeongchang. Because really, Yuzu is now so famous that plenty of ppl outside JP who /don't/ even follow the sport have heard of him.
Shizuka is fine, but she has some UR issues too on her combo, I think. Besides, like Yuzuru, she is also coached abroad under Morozov and TAT (she actually changed coaches quite a few times). Her most successful years was when she was under them, actually. What I meant is, solely just training under local coach seem to be inadequate, jump-wise. I know skaters like Wakaba took lesson abroad too even though her main coach is local.

Please, don't use Yuzu's thread to bash another skater. Specially someone who is a good friend of him and Yuzu cares about.

Shizuka was not coached by Nanami Abe. She moved away long before miss Nanami Abe became coach at Sendai Ice Rink.
Shizuka had a very bad Lip and her 3-3 was not that stellar either. She had many foreign coaches in her career too.

I hope no Shoma fan visits Yuzu's fan fest today. Because if I were, I'd be disgusted.
Why do we need to comment on Shoma's win and demean his win in any way possible like this? Why don't we just feel happy for the kid having won one of the biggest competitions in his life? Even if Yuzu missed it, we're too greedy. And since this hate war started, it'll continue.
There's always inflation at Nats. Yuzu was inflated here as well. I don't see that much of a problem. Shoma is the second best skater Japan has now and he's terribly talented. It's obvious he's a "rising star" and will replace Yuzuru when he retires if a better skater doesn't show up. Yuzu started similarly.
I know I have no right to tell others what to do and I'll probably receive negative feedback, but it was getting on my nerves for a while.
Back to the main topic, I can't believe people could be that rotten. Hopefully they'll be heavily punished for that. Yuzu was unbelievably right when he called out his haters, he always is. Fans should trust him. I can't help feeling sorry for him. Praying he won't find out about these sick minds. I wonder what might cause such hate if not brain absence

Yeah I love that white jacket too. He must have felt very badly. Maybe he also follow Russian National aside from Japanese National? I hope he will get some tip of consistency from Zhenia.Ugh, I just realized we were robbed of seeing Yuzu in his annual gorgeous white ANA jacket.....
Maybe he can do a YOLO 3A1Lo4S just for fun... like Zhenia just did 3-3-3 today.

With all my respect to Nanami Abe and her enormous contribution in Yuzu's career, Yuzu has pure Shoichiro Tsuzuki's basic technique, if you have any doubts watch his students, for example Yuna Aoki and you will see astounding similarity in jump technique. That man really knows how to teach correct technique.

Yuna Aoki had questionable lutz edge the last time I saw her. But it is to be expected because she's a girl and girl has hips which make it troublesome for the lutz. Her Axel is very very great though. What a pity she has been struggling for quite a while.
And yes, I think people misunderstand something when it comes to Yuzuru's jump technique. There has been a thread on Baidu where Chinese fans posted slow motion gifs of Yuzuru's jumps when he was a kid compared to his GPF 2015 technique. Yuzuru already had great pick up technique when he was a 10 years old kid. No pre-rotation whatsoever. That time he was still with Mr. Tsuzuki. If anyone should get credits for Yuzuru's amazing basic, it should be this man.
But I have to say, Yuzuru's current correct Flip jump was thanked to the time he trains at Cricket Club. Before he used to get a lot edge call for the Lip. But since 2015, his FLip has gotten very much better. And it is not wrong to say Yuzuru's quad Sal is also from Cricket Club.

Lol! Maybe I should go back and watch her again because the impression I got from her last season was that she had a wonky axel.
I agree. Yuzu obviously pays close attention to what's going on in the skating world and among skating fans. I would not be surprised about what he knows. But it's still terrible to think if his fans could do to another skater what his antis have done to him.
Anyways, I am soooo happy about Keiji getting silver and likely going to worlds (almost definite right?).
He usually has outside edge and then went to flat but now it seems it is finally inside now? It took him so many years to correct it, but he is a living proof that wrong edge issues could be fixed, so other skaters who lip or flutz should not give up.
Anyway, most top skaters has this edge issues, so I am glad even though it is "understandable" and "common" he still worked hard to fix it.

No, Aoki has great axel technique with very difficult entry one of the best in current juniors tied with Sakamoto and Higuchi, it is just the girl is suffering too much this year with consistency and growth maybe.
