Uhm I assume she doesn't mean general public/casual fans ( it is okay not to know) but those who call themselves figure skating experts or a very long time figure skting fans and actually write some analysis for beginners too, I read bunch of them being in panic that Yuzuru popped axel and even saying he seems very much injured as he keeps popping axels, generally she is about folks who are super popular fans in twitter and many people consider them as authority xD in fact they just have that image and several years of watching sport , not actually analyzing and studying.
I am not on twitter often but there are people like that? I do remember someone said several twitter accounts said Yuzuru's doomed because he popped axel in his Ex. But I didn't think they're experts at all. :scratch2:

Self- proclaimed ones :))) Not only fans actually even one Nagoya based paper wrote the same, that he is injured so keeps popping axels :laugh2:

Oh yes I remember that now :roll9: I was like: "Seriously, Nagoya is supposed to be the skating capital of Japan, why you wrote such wrong thing?" :palmf: Oh and yes those twitter accounts. I do remember that tumblr you mention now. She did not even know to count the transitions and when the analysis of top men came out she was shocked etc and I was like: "You didn't see that?" :reye:

If my wording came off as if I was calling them (normal fan, people in the crowd, random observers) idiots, I say sorry, 'cause that wasn't my intention.

No problem :agree: I was talking about the gens because alas, they do still have that hang up. I almost wish he'd be introduced as YH, with a delayed A that is rarely done these days, simply to indicate there is something there. They kind of miss the beauty of it. Even those who aren't totally casual fans often missed it on the first viewing but that's ok too; for many it was their first time ever seeing it.
I totally understand not bothering with Tumblr experts who after repeated viewing went into meltdown

I forgot that :laugh2:

Yes, doing biellmann is uniquely him and he is the only one who to do it among the top men (cmiiw). Eventhough it's not perfect, his biellmann always success drawing gasp from the crowds, i love it hahaha. Now he even smoothen the exit.

Currently Michael Martinez also does it (although not a top man), he has arguably the best Biellman between man. here , he holds it here for basically 10 revolutions although it travels a bit. As you can see he also does a cantilever and a Y-spin.

Denis Ten used to , he is a top man when he's D10 but not when he's D5 midseason, but doesn't include it anymore, I don't know if he can still do it. There's this iconic image of him in a skirt doing it in a show but I can't find it. lol
I love the improved Biellman exit from Yuzuru, it's so much better, the previous was one of my pet-peeves.

I think Mikhail Kolyada has a bielmann, doesn't he?

I'm not sure, I only watched his green costume program and I think it was a SP and I don't remember. lol i'm sorry, k, I just don't like quirky programs

Wait, I googled it and he does it too at this SP, I have a terrible memory.

Yatagarasu and fireovertheice beat me with the link.

So Is he the only one to include it in both programs? I'm not sure if in the SP this season he included it.

oh, i know Michael Martinez has great biellmann. Lol remind me to watch Denis when he's D10 guys, in worlds maybe? Kolyada's expression win me over rather than his spin
Here he is, he talks about 4cc and his plans, looks like pretty fresh after illness.

I can't wait for tomorrow. I wonder if he want to be the man who win it all

If a jump with an arm above the head called a tano is possible,
and a jump with both arms above the head called a rippon is also possible,
can a skater do a jump with three limbs above the head, both arms a leg like a Bielmann?

Yuzu, Zhenya, Martinez, Kolyada…. don't run away now.
