2017 U.S. Nationals Championship Ladies SP

Kudos to Paige for completing all her elements green. She can build on this for the future with more performance skills. Good strategy to get the technique down first and let maturity do its magic. Very patient skate from her and her team.

Is Paige the first tonight to have none of her elements reviewed? Kudos indeed

Livvy is delightful. She just looks so genuinely happy to be there. I love it when skaters relish the experience of being at Nationals, because that in itself is an accomplishment. And she was clean! What a joy to watch.

I don't disagree. That's actually why I was sad she didn't sell the footwork more. Because what she did, she did very well, even it if it wasn't super polished. I could deal with that, just wish she would have sold that footwork. But liked her skate and look forward to seeing more from her!

Love your avatar by the way! Paul is an all-time favorite!

Livvy Shilling: Good 3F+2T and 3Lo. Nice continuous speed into the change-sit broken leg. Fairly low with the 2A but completed. Very sweet choreography and genuine performance. Very enjoyable and honest. :D

She's just a sentimental favorite to me. I really want her to have success as a skater. I'm fine if she doesn't go, I'm just a huge fan.

Same. But she's historically more of a disaster than Gracie Gold (as are all of Tammy Gambill's skaters.)

Good for Livvy Shilling. Ohio represent!
