2017 Jr Worlds Mens FS

Cool, thanks for your thoughts. Samarin's PCS was actually behind Cha's at GPF. So it's interesting to see it switched here.

Well, Cha was not clean. If he lands everything he would score 77-78 possibly

Start reading. How is samarin's pcs so high? What is P/E? Shouldn't it be 5instead of mid 7? Get a life.
I'm not the one who needs to explain the scores.

You're the one complaining.
So you justify your complaints.
If you can.

I never thought that watching JWC will be this depressing :palmf:

Didn't you see last year's JWC as every heavy favorites faltered a big time while unexpected dark horses surged into the surface and won medals? I was excited for the latter though.

I'm so sad, it was Jun's first full junior season since he only went to Worlds and YOG last season and he will have to go to seniors next season. I guess it can give him less pressure for next season :sad4:

Why? Because of Olympics?

Agreed. This year, the favorites actually medaled and the result was not surprising. the skates were cleaner too. Last year it was mess after mess. :palmf:

Оk, tell me why you think Aliev's comps in comparison to others are reasonable.
How did he get to lead after SP on the first place? How having the lowest TES out of leaders he managed to get 4-5 points more than everyone else in PCS? I don't see what is better in him in terms of SS, Interpretation, Choreo, etc, maybe you explain?

Don't be sad. :console:
He did well, he nailed the first quad salchow and also the 3A-lo-3S combo + his SP was clean, so he did really great during this competition. I think his 5th place won't give that much pressure next season, which is very good for him, he's mentally very matured and a strong competitor anyway. I'm sure it will give him extra motivation too.

And? Nathan never finishes his junior season or won JWC because of his injury. He still have a flourishing senior debut. You should be glad that he is healthy, at least. ;)
He is still 15 and can still go to the next junior world if he wants to. I am not sure about his GP spot though. Did he get into the 24 season's best score or world standing?

Cha can go to JWC and WC both as have done many skaters as long as their age eligibility for juniors is allowed. He is very young, isn't he? Nathan tried to do both last season, but his sudden hip injury prevented him from doing so though.

Ms Sharkina, the Russian judge was quite strict with everyone...especially with Samarin. But she gave relatively good scores for Cha.
Interesting.

ITA. And I was in awe of the way he looked absolutely unfazed after that mistake. I also found Brian's reaction to his score interesting: pitied that he missed the podium, but he quickly shrugged off as someone who's so been there. Jun can only soar higher :console:.

Yeah, obviouslt he can go to Junior Worlds next year but I don't think he will. I bet he will focus on senior competitions.

It would be too much for Cha to compete at Junior Worlds, Olympics and then Senior Worlds. I bet he will skip one of the competitions, possibly JWC.
