Tough break kid.....stay tough and come back stronger. Will she be senior next season?
Yup, very likely.
Hopefully she is healthy next season, and has some good time to prepare for the seniors.

I don't know about that. She does have the SB score to have at least one GP event and if she is back to her usual standards she most likely would get the 3rd Rostelecom spot as her 2nd GP event. However, we need to remember that Sima and Maria weren't let to move to seniors even after medaling at Worlds. Why was that, I am not sure but I would guess it was about how the Russian Fed felt about their senior and junior teams at the time. How they will feel about their teams now is anybody's guess. Their junior team is surely a lot stronger that what it was a couple of seasons ago, so, they don't need Polina there if this was part of the reason why they didn't let Sima and Masha to move to seniors a couple of years ago. The other possible reason to hold back Maria and Sima was that Russian Fed felt they didn't have room for them in seniors.
Small correction, Maria was not a Jr World medalist until last year and she did move up to Seniors afterward.
I remember, I didn't mean that sentence to sound like they both medaled but I guess that is what it did sound like.
Anyway, the point was that they both were held back despite good results and the fact that Sima would have got two GP events for sure wasn't a factor to let her move to seniors, so, one shouldn't think that it would be a decisive factor in Polina's case either. The decisive factor is what Russian Fed and Eteri thinks about this matter and that is something we don't know yet.
And it turned out to be a good decision for Maria and if they decide to keep Polina as a junior, it may well be the best for her. She can work on healing and gaining consistency. Maybe she will be more like Pogo and have a steady rise to the top and longevity instead of being like others who lit the World on fire in their first Senior season only to burn out the next. Yeah the Olympics are next season and she is age eligible but I hope her team make a good decision and not try to rush anything.
Polina too good for Juniors....
She doesn't look like a junior.
She doesn't skate like a junior.
She is much better than most seniors ladies......
IMO. She should move to Seniors next season.
She was born on July 11, 2001 ... 11 days early .... and she could be seniors already at this season. I don't see any reason to keep Polina as a junior. Not a single one...
my only hope... next season will be bright for her. and injured free....
+100000000000000Polina has superb quality of jumping technique and if she is clean then she will always be at least in top 4 of Russian team among with Zhenya, Anna and Alina
Up to what age can the ladies compete as juniors?

it's the right decisionIn the airport of Chelyabinsk, I asked Ms. Eteri if Polina wins the WJC champion, will she compete in senior group next season. She said sure, we will do our best.
Yesterday in the lobby of the hotel in Taipei, I asked Mr. Daniil if Polina can compete in senior group next season. He said yes.

>she probably still needs time to recover from injuries.
What a fair player!
Knows she still injured,
knows she still needs time to recover,
still doesnt give places to an other girl with more chances.
0/10
Well, in the past Sakhanovich and Leonova may have got spot, but if you count current ladies, then you will figure out that the number of spots is limited. There is only max 3 spots per country per GP event, so in theory there is max 18 spots. However, the host countries can decide who they would invite, and some countries will not invite three Russian ladies because they want their skaters to have a chance to medal. So I am pretty sure Japan and USA won't have three Russian ladies, no matter what. So suddenly you have 16 spots. This is absolutely nonsense to talk about staying Polina in juniors!
Because at least of three reasons:
first
Senior Russian Ladies team is not so deep, because even Leonova and Sakhanovich got GP spots!
second
This is OLYMPIC SEASON!
third
Polina has superb quality of jumping technique and if she is clean then she will always be at least in top 4 of Russian team among with Zhenya, Anna and Alina
Medvedeva, Pogorilaya, Radionova, Sotskova, Zagitova, Tuktamysheva,
And then you will have only two spots left. Will you give it to Lipnitskaya, Leonova, Sakhanovich, Konstantinova or Tsurskaya?
I also forgot to mention Alisa Fedichkina. I hope she will move to seniors, because in juniors for her will be much harder. But she could easy compete at seniors with Leonova, Sakhanovich and other unstable girls.Well, Zhenya, Alina and Anna will have 2 spots each for sure. So that leaves 10 spots open, lets say.
Imho while Sotskova was not stellar at europeans, if she places top 10 at Worlds, she will have 2 spots for sure.
Thats 8 left.
Then, we have Radionova, Tuktamysheva, Lipnitskaya, Leonova, Sakhanovich, Konstantinova and Tsurskaya.
Looking at how those ladies performed this season (rounded up numbers a bit)...
